What a wonderful experience. Allowed to have both breakfast and lunch. I ordered a side of bacon; 5 pieces for $3.50 and cooked perfect! Their salad bar was exceptional for a small Cafe, would be better with some fruit. Service was great.

The food was worth the time we waited. Great fries and the patty melt was delicious. Tots were cooked perfectly. Reasonable prices and had the feel of an old diner with some updates…nothing fancy, which was ok. I wish the service was better so I could have rated it higher. The waitress was just plain rude. Very short tempered every time we asked her something. And no service after we got our meal. Drinks were never refilled or asked if we needed anything. We asked for go boxes as she walked by and she just looked at us and returned a few minutes later with the containers. I watched her and it appeared that she was a lot nicer to the locals or what seemed to be regular customers. Hope she gets some sleep, maybe she won’t be so crabby.

Whoever said you must choose two of the three, either good, efficient or affordable hasn’t been to Blue Anchor. We love the steaks, burgers and my favorite is the delicious salad bar. To say they haven’t cut corners on the salad bar is an understatement! We’ve been making the drive from Dillon twice a week since discovering a new favorite.

Tried to pull 50 cents out as fast as possible to pay for water after my drink at the bar, never was told it’d be 50 cents once ordered so the lady behind the bar was rude and walked away when I didn’t pull it out fast enough berating me and treating me differently from other patrons around me once she brought it out. If you can’t act like a patient adult, get out of customer service.

10 stars! Friendly down home Cafe! Salad bar is tied for my top 3 ever in Montana. Had a patty melt with tots and it was amazing. You won’t be let down stopping in on your way thru town!!

This Cafe has an amazing, very reasonably priced soup & salad bar that was so fresh and tasty. I would go back for that alone. My partner had the wings and would order them again, he said they were ‘aight.

Absolutely delicious!!! I had the chicken sandwich with Swiss and bacon with cheese sticks. The chicken had the most delicious seasoning, thick cut bacon and quality bun and cheese. The cheese sticks were basically just mozzarella sticks and they were thick as well. Fair price for great food! Kam was our server. Delightful and I heard her make sure the food was exactly to customer specifications. Fantastic! We will be back ^^
