We really enjoyed the mini beignets! I got the praline & pecans flavor and they were delicious. Just the right amount of toppings, served hot and fresh. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Support local businesses!

Way overpriced for the quality and portions of some of the food. The beignets were pretty good but don’t expect them to be anywhere close to the quality and taste of Cafe Du Mond e’s beignets or you’ll be disappointed. The bacon was very tasty and cooked just right for my liking but not worth almost $4 for 4 pieces! The grits were terrible (bland and overcooked) and the rest was OK but nothing you couldn’t make better at home. Service was slow considering there was only one other person dining in at the time. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.

This is a very warm and cozy little shop. They have sooo many different flavors of beingets! And I loved that they also offered them in regular and mini size. The mini size is perfect for kids, sharing, and trying several different flavors. They had an eggnog glazed one (which I’m sure is seasonal) and it is phenomenal! The praline was so good too. My family also enjoyed the blackberry and original. I already can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend checking them out if u get a chance.

I just want to first say, that I’ve never had any of the food here. Which sucks because the reviews say its pretty good, but I’ll never know! I’m a door dasher and I’ve frequent this place often, the first visit wasn’t pleasant, and every visit after has been the same way! This particular day there’s an older lady working and she’s usually by herself and I’m not sure if that’s the reason for her rudeness but she’s very rude! I was always taught when you enter a room you greet the people there. I walked in I said good morning and she responded with “who you here for”. Then waved me off and said that’s not ready”. She proceeded on to the next customer and left me standing there. While I do understand that things can be stressful when your working alone, but it’s not the customers fought and we don’t deserve to be treated that way! The energy she gives off is horrible! Because of this I will never spend a dollar here! It’s not only about the taste of your food it’s also about the experience while visiting your business!

The beignets are awesome. The other food is average and overpriced for what you get. We had the bacon/grits/egg/ cheese bowls. The grits were very good, but the bacon was skinny and it looked like a medium sized egg at best. A slice of cheese was simply laid over the top. It wasn’t heated or melted onto or into the Grits. This was 12.75. It did, however come with 2 mini beignets. This would be $8 to possibly $10 maximum. It is a small restaurant with no frills. If I go back, it would only be to get beignets to go.

I read the reviews before coming to this place and wanted to give it a try because the positive reviews outweighed the negative ones. However, the service is so poor and the food is very basic. I understand this place has been in business for over 12+ years but based off customer service, I don’t see how it lasted this long. The server was rude and did not make us feel welcomed. She made us feel like we were bothering her by supporting her business. I would not recommend based off service alone.

We wanted to have beignets somewhere other than the usual touristy spots. Very glad we found this little gem just outside New Orleans. The service was friendly, the value was good and the beignets were freshly made and delicious!
