Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was excellent! The Whipped Ricotta is a must; it had a surprising lemon twist which went really well with the plate. I also had the Eggplant Parm which was super yummy as well. I’m eyeing the Cacio e Pepe for next time Honestly, everything was absolutely delightful, so you can image my disappointment with the Tiramisu… I had high expectations coming from an amazing entree and appetizer, but the Tiramisu was a bit dry and lacked the coffee taste typically expected. Maybe it was just that night? Or maybe another dessert is better? Anyway, a quick shout out to the best waiter who was genuinely kind and provided us amazing service. Overall, I will be coming back and recommending to others. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Incredible! Started with an arancini sent from the kitchen, which was delicious. The herb oil that accompanied it…so so good. The meatballs are a must try and the Cacio e Pepe was one of the best I’ve had outside of Rome! The GM Michael was so gracious and Chef came by to see how the meal was. Can’t wait to go back!

Oh we wanted to love this place! And if this review were just on atmosphere, it would be glowing. It is a gorgeous interior and it will do so well just because of how it looks and where it is. But we’ve lived in Italy, and a restaurant that calls itself Italian and does not offer bread to the table, is not Italian. The food was ok. Pesto and potatoes is a very unique dish and I was so excited about it – and it was fair but my gosh was it over salted and very sparing on the pesto. The service is very nice – clearly working out the kinks of being the new kid on the block. But the menu is another issue – it is SO limited. Just a few options. The mozzarella appetizer was very odd and nothing we’ve ever seen anywhere in Italy – one huge chunk of rubbery mozzarella with grapes and roasted tomatoes – not stellar by any stretch and very hard to eat. Hopefully they enlarge their menu as they grow and remember to add the bread. I don’t think I’ve even been to an Italian restaurant in NYC that doesn’t bring bread. This is a signature to Italian eating.

We had a great experience here! All the food/drink was delicious and the staff are excellent. Don’t skip the lasagna or tiramisu.

The food? Fantastic. And the best lasagna I have had. The service? Couldn’t have been more genuine and helpful. Will I be back? A coin toss on that. I have been tougher in the past few years on judging restaurants on where I am seated relative to what is available when I am seated. And who are given better seats than I am given after I am seated that were open when I was seated. With half the restaurant available the manager decided we should sit next to the expo window and the restroom corridor. What will I remember? The great food or being judged not worthy of a decent table? These days I remember the intangibles.

Gosh what a delicious menu and beautiful atmosphere. We loved reading about Leigh’s story in the news and always appreciate when passionate chef’s bring authentic cuisine to the heart of Dallas. And boy did she deliver! The lasagna was delicious and the drinks were stellar. The bartenders were especially impressive. Their excitement to explain all the complexities of mixology was infectious, and they knew their stuff!

Friend and I loved everything. Since we were there the first night they took reservations, we expected a few glitches. No glitches at all – just the best southern Italian food in Dallas with flawless friendly service and handsome warm decor. Can’t wait to return!

We walked in here on a whim while waiting for a table next door. We asked to sit at the bar as we only wanted a quick cocktail, and the bar was full. Without hesitation, they cleared a dinner table for us, offered us a delicious appetizer on the house even though their kitchen was closed. They brought us our cocktails (that were second to none) and provided excellent service. My only complaint is that we were too late to make dinner. Definitely will be coming back for dinner!
