Enjoyed every second. Our server Alania was amazing! She was polite, super educated and very attentive. The food was perfectly seasoned and the dessert was just the icing on the cake. The Restaurant was not crowded, the decor was simply but cute and the music was nice and relaxing. We will definitely return!

We stayed at the hotel connected to The Gallo while in town to visit my sick grandma. It was phenomenal!! ALL of the staff are professional, kind and attentive! The drinks are yummy, the food is filling and the prices aren’t bad. I forget her name, but on Saturday night, the bartender we had was wonderful! She had shoulder length hair and a nice smile. Thanks again you guys for making a short time in town for a not so great reason- wonderful!

Great experience! Had chicken piccata, the sauce was delicious, served with sauteed broccoli and potatoes. Fried calamari was awesome, served with cherry peppers and an interesting dipping sauce. I’ve been here twice and has not disappointed yet. Love it!!

Highly recommend it.. if you want authentic Italian food this is the place… all the food that we ate was delicious and cooked to perfection even the kids eat their food and loved it. And also the owners and the staff were awesome.. stop in and check them out you won’t be disappointed!

We stopped at the hotel next door. Ordered online from the happy hour menu as we had a dog with us.. got a call that happy hour was only in-house. We told her we had a dog and she said bring her in.. wonderful place and the calamari was the best I have ever had. Everything we ordered was great. We will stop by on the way back to Florida from Maine..

Very disappointing. The wait was very, very long. It took over 30 minutes for the garlic bread and sausage/broccoli rabe to come out. The garlic bread was great but the broccoli rabe was extremely bitter. Then the meal took over 45 minutes to come out after the apps were done. Waitress came by multiple times and didn’t even acknowledge us. The food finally came and it was ok but not worth the wait. We got the Sunday sauce, chicken parmesan and old school pizza. Then the real treat came – the ricotta on the pizza was spoiled. I felt like I was being done a favor when they took the pizza off the bill. I wanted to like this place but next time I’m in town visiting my friends we’ll go elsewhere.

Back a couple months later. Still friendly service. Excellent food. Haven’t found anything that I wouldn’t order again, from appetizers through dessert. Great place for parties, family, or just lunch. Food is real Italian. You can’t go wrong.
