Stickball Special
Provolone, ham and salami. Ordering a #2 with salami instead of cappaculo became a mouthful for some of our hungry customers, so we gave it a name and a number to call its own. The Stickball Special comes with provolone, ham, and salami and truly knocks it out of the park.
Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I can’t believe how expensive this place is, the sandwiches are decent but they used to put a decent amount of meat on their sandwiches. I ordered a regular club sub and they put a very small amount of meat on it and five pounds of lettuce. I asked them to add a couple slices of meat and I added a drink. My total was $18.90!! In addition every table in this place was dirty. I won’t be back..

Lady cutting meat and greeting you was pretty rude. Asked me what I would like but then ignored me and I had no clue she was even starting my sandwich since she was running around and in such a hurry. She was real snappy when I said I didn’t want my sandwich on white like she assumed and wanted something else. If you’re that much in a hurry when there’s like two people in the whole place with three people on the counter, then be upset at yourself you didn’t even ask in the first place.

JM has the best subs. I ordered a chicken cheese steak (minus the cheese). They grill the chicken and onions on the spot. I like adding lettuce, tomato, and banana peppers. My husband ordered a roast beef sub adding blue cheese dressing. Both were the regular sized subs and plentiful.
