My husband and I enjoyed a very nice dinner at CVRS. We started with the pork rinds, which came out still crackling. My husband had the prime rib with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes, and I had the rotisserie chicken with roasted vegetables. both were very good, and the portions were plentiful. I couldn’t leave without trying the brownie sundae for dessert, which was very yummy with strawberries and banana slices. Lots of other items on the menu we wanted to try so we will definitely be back!

Once you find it, you’ll be impressed by the easy entry and fully equipped Coach and Camper sites. The view from most of the sites is majestic. Tom, one of the owners, is super attentive and plain old just a great guy! Mountain views, ponds, restaurant, bar.

Stopped for lunch…the burgers, fries, onion rings and cheesesteak was excellent! Everyone was so nice and the place was very clean! Will definitely go again for dinner.

Mighty fine vittles, meat loaf, tacos Wednesday, good stuff. Had some kind of caramel pastry that could have been a hardened pie from the horse pasture, still overall a 5.

Waited forever for bartenders to take our order. One bartender didn’t even know what a lemon drop was…brought a cup that looked like it had sprite with lemon juice in it. She asked me how to make it. And I ordered a jagerbomb and I know the jagermeister was very watered down. Not thick like it should be. As a former bartender I was highly disappointed in the whole service. Won’t waste my money there again. Only good thing about our visit was the male dancers.

Great place in this rural area. We stopped in because we missed our train, and had time to kill. Clean, comfy and good food. Friendly folks, too. If you’re driving through, stop in. If you live around Romney, support these folks and be a regular.
