I love this place. Used to eat here when the previous owner was there, and under the new ownership the place has only gotten better. They now have more variety in their specials and their deserts, and homemade white and wheat bread options (which are insanely delicious by the way), -if you don’t want to go with the normal options. While adding new items to the menu, they have also kept the same menu items that have been im place since it first opened up in the 30’s & 40’s (around that time anyway). The owners (sisters) are friendly and helpful and very very hands on.

Tiny single counter diner. Super friendly owner and employees, even warned my husband not to order 2 blueberry pancakes because they were soooo big, they were right he couldn’t finish one, they could have easily let us order more than we needed to but were to honest to do so even though it was obvious to all that we were tourists and would probably be one time customers. The regulars were friendly and welcoming as well. Strongly recommend, the food was cooked to order and delicious,but be warned probably no more than 15 seats.

What a find!! We were staying in town overnight and looked up breakfast “joints” on the internet. Couldn’t pass this place up after reading the reviews. All the reviews are spot on!! Excellent breakfast (perfectly cooked) and loads of entertainment! Friendly locals didn’t make us feel like outsiders. My husband fell in love with the co-owner, Julie!!! Will DEFINITELY return.

This place has the BEST breakfast in Rumford/Mexico hands down! I wish they’d stop changing their damn hours! The food is great, the portions BIG and the girls who run the place are very friendly. Always good lunch specials too. Now there closed @ noontime….stupid.

What a fantastic LITTLE diner! Definition of bang for your buck, great food, great staff, fantastic prices all around a very good experience. You can feel the history with in the building. This was such a great place, me and my husband loved it. We went one early morning which was really cool we could order lunch or diner that early, was also offered coffee right as we walked in. Was like being in a actual diner in the late 20’s. I would say it is really up close and personal tho. But the place was just really wonderful and such low and good prices.
