Traveling from California and staying at the holiday inn express. Took my family across the street for lunch. The food was mouth watering. I had the chopped brisket plate with Texas toast, with mac cheese and beans. The sauce was amazing. From my understanding this place has recently opened. There was a great feel from the management and a pleasant vibe. I notice the military officers there the previous day. I figured these guys knew where to eat. Glad we gave it a shot. If we’re ever in the area again we will make our way here. The owner gave my 2 kids free deserts as well to take back to the hotel. A + in my estimation

Food is okay. Price is way too high. You would think that since they are working out of a little shed it would be cheaper. Since they have very little overhead. I would rather go to coopers in the stockyards and get a pound of brisket for the same price. If they come down on the price it would be much better. My wife got a $7 sandwich and it was just two pieces of bread with brisket in the middle. No sides, no drink. Not acceptable for us.

From California, here on business. My wife noticed the “Order Your Holiday Turkey Here”, and figured the turkey sandwich must be good. It was great, as was the brisket sandwich. Not sure what all the “high price “ noise is about.

Horrible! Over priced and very skimpy on the meat. I got the sliced brisket plate which was cold, very little brisket and very bland green beans. The meal with 15% tip cost me $18.00. Not worth it which is a shame since it’s family owned. I do not recomend it.

Great place to grab a bite! The staff is friendly, and the cheese burgers are so fresh! Lisa, the owner, always makes it a point to say hello and get to know her customers. I work around the corner from this place and make it a point to drop by a few times a month. If you are in the area, definitely drop in and try this place! 5 stars across the board.

Ordered 2 sliced sandwiches, 2 chopped sandwiches, half a pound of sausage and 2 orders of fries. I will say this. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I did ask for sauce on the side to make sure I could flavor it as needed. Got home and I did have sauce on the side, as well as smothering every inch of meat in the order. After removing the sauce on the sausage I was disappointed to taste what was no better than off brand store bought sausage. Did not finish it and even my animals wouldn’t touch it. Now I figure I would try the chopped sandwiches. Again smothered with sauce when I asked for none. Took one bite and it was if I was biting into a block of Brown Sugar. No thank you. I decided to look at the sliced sandwiches and low and behold the very same thing. Smothered in sauce. I was able to find a piece that had none on it and decided to try it out and see if it was at least decent meat. BOY was I wrong. No flavor. No smoke bite, no bark, sliced as thick as a half dollar and rubbery.
