This place is amazing and the food is delicious. I’ve had everything on the menu and everything is great! Ribs! TriTip with Mac n Cheese or Ceaser Salad or solo. Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage. Even King Salmon. Only problem is when I get here I want to order everything! You have to try this place and your welcome Got Ribs!

I’ll start with if I could give this a 3.75 rating I would. I agree with other reviewers that it misses on the smoked flavor, and portions are a little light for the price. I will say it is nice to have another viable non chain BBQ place on the west side, and it fits nicely into the bethany neighborhood. The andouille was nicely flavored and juicy. The tri-tip was certainly and understandably the biggest hit. Their tri-tip is certainly the star of the show, the Mac and cheese is pretty good not overly salty.

Wow! If I could give more stars I would! I stopped in last Wednesday and ordered the tri tip mac n cheese, it did not disappoint! I’m really picky about my mac, I had a choice of the meat being pink or not, I chose pink and this was delicious and creamy, the tri tip was tender and so tasty, loved the sauce too!

Staff is really very nice but the food is just average. The potato salad lacked pretty much everything and the 1/2 rack of ribs had barely any meat on them, they were so tiny! My toddler liked the Mac n cheese but everything else was just blah. They also must accumulate a massive amount of garbage because everything comes in to go boxes even if you are eating in. More recycling and compost would be great.

Go for the meat but not the sides. The ribs were really good and so was the pulled pork sandwich. The Mac and cheese side was not that appealing and the price at $5 was a bit much for a small container. It was my family’s first time trying out the food and I wanted to support a local business. We will definitely go back

Just ok. Ribs had a burnt taste to them and sauce was forgettable. Tri tips were under cooked and sauce was forgettable. Staff were friendly and nice however, but unless you are desperate there are much better places like wolf’s head bbq.

Very nice people running this place, but the food was very bland. The potato salad was even more bland than if you bought the big tub of it at Safeway. Its a smoked-meat place but the meat really did not have much smoky flavor; that was the whole reason we went. I can do far better on my barbecue grill and I hardly know how to cook. Often, when first trying a restaurant, you dont know what to expect – but from the name, and the verbiage on the menu, we definitely had expectations of very tasty smoked meats and that just did not happen – hence the low review. This place is not recommended – you can find far better barbecue flavor at other restaurants!

Buyer beware. This place does NOT honor their price list. They offer a combo plate on their menu that you can choose 3 of pulled pork, tri-tip, or sausage for $5 each. I ordered a combo plate with 3x tri-tip which was supposed to be $15 but they charged me $16. When I confronted them about the extra dollar, they told me that they charged me for a full plate ($10) and a side ($6). When I reminded them what I ACTUALLY ordered, I overheard them talking amongst each other saying that I’m “being fussy” and “whining” over one dollar instead of doing the right thing. I wouldn’t trust people who choose to be DISHONEST and DISRESPECTFUL at the same time over a dollar with what they’re doing behind the counter.
