The owner was there when we went in the evening. He was very nice and accommodating. He was excited to let us try many items – who does that anymore and doesn’t charge? Wow! Very transparent about what any of the item’s ingredients are. The food was tasty! I enjoyed this vegan Turkish cuisine, it made me HAPPY indeed. The bathroom wasn’t stocked almost out of soap and had no towels but not fretting about it. Baklava was amazing! Everything is made or at minimum prepared in-house too.

Best vegan spot on the town… I have tried their signature famous kofteh wrap it was delicious authentic and worth the trip… also don’t forget their famous vegan burger !!!!

Hidden little vegan gem in Clifton. I have been going there for a while now and they never disappoint. My all time fav is their spicy vegan wrap. It has so little calories but packed with flavor. Also, the place is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Don’t forget to try their desserts as well. The vegan baklava is delicious.

I used to come here when it was originally Nefista. However, the food at Happy Vegans is far better than what I remembered! Great quality, healthy, and tastes amazing! Customer service was outstanding! They even stayed open a few minutes past close for us to finish our food.

This is my regular last stop of monthly Clifton, NJ visits. Apart from being courteous and friendly, the delicious vegan options are really great! If you are passing by the area must stop to try the wrap and spicy vegan kofta!!

My husband ordered me spaghette with red sauce from Clifton location. I opened up the container and it was mixed pasta, over cooked mushrooms and little to no sauce. The only flavor it had was mushrooms and a bad aftertaste as if it was spoiled. He also ordered the lentil soup and there was no lentils in it. It was just liquid. It was very bland. He tried. I will not be reordering.

They are very nice here in spite of the fact that I picked up my order 10 minutes before they closed. The food is very good – specifically the hummus, which I don’t know why no one has mentioned in any of the other reviews. But seriously this is some of the best hummus I’ve ever had, I would come here again for that alone but on top of that, I was a big fan of the kofteh.

So I have tried the Hoboken location so wanted to give this location a try. First they rarely answer the phone. I tried to call before and no one ever answered. Luckily after a couple tries I got someone. The server answered and I ordered the chickpea over rice and koftah wrap and it came to close to $15. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and the man that took my order was working alone. I called to him and he came and took my payment and my food. When I got home I dug in and I liked the chickpea and rice. The wrap was just ok, wasn’t a huge fan. All in all I had an ok experience.
