The food is absolutely amazing!!! There’s no doubt about that. And they got it out quickly. But it is a bit run down. Which does not affect the food at all. And the buffet is closed for lack of customers it looks like.

We got dinner from Bamboo house lastnight and as usual , it was delicious! The staff is so sweet , the service is amazing and the food is so yummy! Not to mention you get a huge portion of food for the price! My favorite place it eat in Lamar by far! Kudos again! ❤️

Ordered carryout today. The portions are generous and it was delicious. The service is always great too. We were offered a House Special (saved us money) even though we did not order four Cashew Chicken. We had three Cashew Chicken and one Garlic Chicken. Enjoyable. Thanks!

This is about the 4th time I’ve stopped by in the afternoon to pick up dinner and they’re closed. I’m sure they’re slower during the afternoon but I saw 2 other cars pull in and try to go inside. Disgraceful.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was wanting some Springfield style cashew chicken before returning to KC (from Joplin) and decided on this place being it’s right off I-49. We arrived shortly after opening, so freshness of the buffet was spot on. While the cashew sauce initially left something to be desired, it got better with each bite and the right amount of cashews. The sweet and sour sauce was the best I’ve had in a while! The chicken pieces were excellent. All of their flavored chickens were great as well! To top it off, they had fried mushrooms and okra! My 5 year old found plenty to eat and was super excited by the dessert choices (multiple cookie types and doughnuts). I’d be completely content if this was the only Chinese restaurant in my town.

Place is in the gutters. They don’t have any pride for their business. Little Debby snacks and desserts. They have removed the ice-cream machine. Their ranch is store bought. Their food sits and gets hard. Labels for the buffet are often wrong. Seats are in poor shape. Carpet is nasty.

My husband and I usually like to go to the buffet here. I called today wanting to order some take out. The girl interuppted me while I was trying to order! She informed me that they were only taking cash and I said “Well all I have is my card.” And she sighed very loudly and sarcastically! Bamboo House lost a couple of customers that go there weekly.

Usually get take out, which is always great. If we have more time, it’s nice to sit down and enjoy the very well stocked buffet. I have had the buffet many times, and it is always fresh, and tasty.
