My boyfriend took me here for the first time and all I can say is wow!!! Absolutely delicious and filling. We got oreo milkshakes, crispy chicken sandwiches and cheesy bacon fries. The staff was super nice and brought our food right over to us. The place was clean and is in a great location. We can’t wait to go back!

First time order today. It was empty and that should’ve been the first warning sign. The service was friendly and that’s where the compliments stop. Burgers and fries are simple so screwing them up is bad. This just wasn’t it. I doubt I’ll be going back. Look at this sad dry burger.

Best hand cut fries ever with plenty of dipping sauces to choose from. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu offerings. They are all good. The hot dogs, buttermilk chicken sandwich, grilled cheese and smash burgers all get rave reviews in our home. The Trumbull restaurant has lots of seating for eating in and lots of parking for meals on the run. The food is so, so good and there is always something new on the menu to try.

I am a devotee of the french fry. When I came across Fryborg I didn’t even try the various sauce options, which I’m sure have their own merits, preferring to judge the fries on their own. They aren’t just good, they are superior to the vast fast-food universe, properly browned with crispy ends, not over-salted, made from fresh potatoes- just like you would make at home if you had a proper deep fryer!

Tried Fryboeg for the first time on Sunday. We were visiting Connecticut and had heard about Fryborg’s from a places to eat web page. Fryborg’s did not disappoint. We had a chicken sandwich, cheese steak, and pattymelt and of course the fries. My chicken sandwich was the best chicken I have ever had. My son and husband enjoyed the sandwich they had. Now for the fries. The were the best fries. I have ever had. (And I’ve had fries in Amsterdam). We also tried the milkshakes, which were fantastic. My son had the grilled peanut butter and fluff sandwich for dessert. Overall the best comfort food available. The portions are large, restaurant was clean, location was easy to find and plenty of parking. Jon, the owner, was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will visit again on our next trip. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
