Food was good but VERY salty. No yum yum sauce. Soup, salad & rice all an extra up charge. The service was strange. Bar girl at first… then 30 minutes later the show. Which was average at best. $215 bill. Won’t ever go back. But that was our own experience.

I’ve eaten at hibachi restaurants all over. This was probably our least favorite. The waitress was very nice and the chef did good and had a few unique tricks we hadn’t seen. Was disappointed to pay extra for soup and salad. The salad dressing was terrible. Tastes like strong vinegar. There sauces are very different than most hibachi restaurants. Yum yum sauce was replaced with a horseradish based sauce. Portion sizes were very small on noodles and veggies. The meat was good however. We are through Paducah twice a month and won’t be returning unfortunately.

My son requested Tokyo Hibatchi for his 13th birthday dinner. We took a party of 7 and arrived at 6:00pm. I thought that would be a great time to get there and beat the crowd…..boy was I wrong. The place was packed!

Food was delicious and the chef was fun. He was friendly and super-skilled. Fun date night! Enough food for another meal the next day.

It’s ok. Our cook was funny reminds me of a guy I once knew when I stayed at the chef house with my brother when I first moved here. His name was Adrian.

As a Teppanyaki style steakhouse, there are some expectations when you walk in. You pay for the experience, the atmosphere, and the energy as much as the food. The general experience that you pay a premium for includes soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, your choice of white or fried rice, your main entre, and the showmanshipmof your chef along with fantastic service.

I want to start by saying that I love the food here. We have been coming here for several years and even know several of the cooks by name. However the customer experience here has been getting worse and worse. On several instances I’ve seen the hostess/manager act incredibly rude to customers with a blatant lack of care to how people feel. The newest strike is that now they charge for the soup and salad they used to provide free of charge as well as removing the “appetizer” shrimp which was two pieces of grilled shrimp. My wife and I spent almost $100 between the two of us to get what seemed like smaller portions than before along with the missing pieces of the meal that used to be there. To top off the visit I snapped a picture of the sign in front of the restaurant about the changes to which the hostess mentioned before said oh take a picture of the other sign its prettier. The cooks and servers were just as good as always but I won’t support this business so long as they keep supporting practices like this and allowing people like the hostess to treat customers like dirt.
