This restaurant is amazing! The level of care and attention to detail that the staff gives to its guests is very rare to come across. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the restaurant tonight and I was so grateful as to how much information our waitress could provide us on wine selection, food options and the history of the restaurant. I am still blown away by the service. You are treated as if you are dining with the Queen.

The whole experience was fantastic, the Salisbury steak, pickled okra, and potatoes were my favorite part of the buffet. Even with low staff and a waitress leaving due to being sick we were taken care of so well. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves a traditional American buffet.

We just happened to be in Dexter, MO today for lunch. We normally eat at Dexter BBQ but they were closed so we went across the street to this restaurant. Son ordered hamburger and Jeff and I eat the buffet $12.99. (Plus if you order a glass of water they charge you $.25 and if you want a slice of lemon that cost extra as well) We thought that was a really low price for Easter Sunday. The food was cold on the Buffet and it was 11:59 am when we got there. The mashed potatoes were instant and the rest of the vegetables tasted bland as well. It took forever for son’s Hamburger and it was a small preformed Patty. Son did love his French fries. The staff was running around trying to take care of their tables the best they could, but you could tell they needed a little more help. This is not a restaurant we will go back to. There are several other restaurants in town we can try.

Food quality seems to be going down depending on the day. Got white beans and ham, rolls, hush puppies, and roast beef with potatoes and veggies. The beans weren’t cooked all the way, the rolls were rock hard on the bottom, even the fruit (tangerines) seemed to be almost bad they were way more tangy than usual.

We had a table with 6 of us, all gonna have buffet, the buffet wasnt stocked with food, the meat that was there was very dry, from being there so long, 2 pieces fish hard in pan. I ask a waitress about fish when seen one and she stated they are bringing some out, well after at least a 30 minutes wait still none brought out, so when 4 people was done we paid a tab for $93 and they still hadnt brought fish or stocked buffet.. i believe thats a little much for 4 people to have supper.
