At first I was sceptical ordering from this restaurant, on behalf of some negative reviews on here. But I’m definitely glad I ordered from them anyway because the food was so good! the chicken, the macaroni and cheese and the cabbage!

The food is delicious, good portions and priced right; unfortunately hours of operation inconsistent. Hours posted on the door and pre recorded message of hours of operation, inconsistent. Unable to place to go order no one answers the phone. Have driven there on several occasions only to find doors locked with open sign posted . The lack for professionalism, valued customer service, being out of touch with the customer base, unfortunate.

The food taste NOTHING like Soul Food. Paid $18 for oxtails and only received 5 small pieces, with no sauce. Baked beans & corn bread was dried, Mac & cheese had no seasoning. Wouldn’t recommend this place as a soul food joint, very bland. Wanted to give 0 stars, a waste of money.

Poor customer service lady had a bad attitude. I called ordered my food she said cash only but they take cash app which I felt was really ghetto then said before I got off the phone you can cash app now. There was no way I was going to cash app before I picked up my food. When I got there I told the woman in the front I will cash app when I got my food she ask do you get your food at McDonald’s before you pay. I felt it was very disrespectful and this was my first time ever going there. She told the owner or the cook I wanted to see my food before I cash app. At this point I didn’t want to give them my business because the woman was ghetto and very disrespectful. I went to Nicole’s and received professional customer service and the meal was great.

Polish boy was fire!!! Catfish dinner with mac n chees and yams all fire!!!! Ill be back def!! My only complaint is there was one big piece of fish that was in the dinner that wasnt done but the strips were A1!! Yams hit too!!!

Man this food was so good they deff know what they doing …first time eating here and I will be back I had a taste for some baked Mac and cheese n potato salad they were out of potato salad but the cabbage was worth the wait the fried Talipa was so good I ate it without hot sauce (cause the food didn’t even make it home) the tbone was well flavored everything was just great I’ll be back to try the greens and potato salad for sure they only thing I didn’t like was the cornbread felt it was too dry but to eachs own I didn’t come there for that anyways

The worst! I mean worst! I almost spent $100 trying to get a carry out order! Thank goodness I didn’t get a chance to taste the food! The woman who answered the phone “hello” turned me away. In the middle of me placing a very large order. She put me on hold and never came back to the phone! Like actually in the middle of an order the rude lady cut me off and put me on hold and never returned! February 11th 4:38 2021!
