El Mesón is amazing! Me and my dad happened to come here for lunch today out of curiosity. We were blown away with how great the overall experience was. The owner was so inviting and friendly and the food was so flavorful. There is real authenticity in this place and it’s food. I also need to mention that their tortillas are made by hand AND made per order. They’re so fresh and yummy! I will definitely be coming back with my dad and more family and friends! We have to try the burritos next!

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place! Excellent food & service! We had birria tacos with consommé and chicken fajitas and they were delicious! Orchata is made from scratch. Tortillas on select dishes are handmade.

Ordered fish tacos to go. The food was good. The spicy mayo sauce made them delicious n was spicy to me. Just wish it would have come with more than just one little tub for 3 otherwise dry tacos. No picture, I was hungry. I’d go there again.

Drive by this place a lot but they’re never open when I try to go in. Finally got that chance and was really happy to finally try this place. Their corn tortillas are hand made which is a plus. For the food we ordered a wet veggie burrito, potato tacos, and quesabirria tacos. The burrito was good and the veggies were fresh. The green salsa had a heat that builds so watch out! The potato tacos were okay. It’s not the best I’ve had and I wouldn’t really recommend them. The quesabirria tacos were good but I feel like they were missing something to put them over the top. The consume was very good and the salsa was nice and spicy. Overall the food was middle of the road.

My GF and I were on Vacation in the Ontario area from the Tampa Bay, Florida area. We wanted Authentic Mexican flavor so we were told to try the El Meson Mexican Grill over on Holt Blvd in Montclair. This place is in its beginning phase and is only going to grow because the food we had was so tasty and flavorful , made to order and fresh .The owner was so helpful and polite that our time here was delightful , We recommend anyone to come try this place out. The owner greets you when you come in and immediately makes you feel welcome. When we travel to California again we will come here again and again. Thank you for a great experience!

By far my favorite Mexican food place. The shrimp tacos were SO GOOD. Customer service was so welcoming and friendly. Very nice people. Can’t forget to mention their tortillas are hand made and fresh, can’t wait to try everything else on the menu! MUST TRY!

I never go outside the box and I had their Birria Ramen let me tell you that was so delicious!! It hit the spot on these cold days we been having and the birria juice had no fat at all. They give it to you with all the fixings and homemade tortillas honestly was very delicious that I even drank my juice.
