Firehouse makes a solid sandwich. My go to is the meatball. It’s probably the best thing they offer. Meatballs are tasty and the sauce is thick and flavorful. They put the cheese on before sending it through an oven, so you get it hot and melted on top. They offer a BBQ brisket and cheese that is also decent, but don’t go in thinking it’s a substitute for brisket from a BBQ joint. It’s meat on a bun with bbq sauce.

I ordered 4 subs, 2 Hook N Ladder Medium, 2 Steak Large, order was wrong, I just called and the cashier, he hung up on me. I paid cash because he said the POS system was down…I hope the Manger or Franchisee will see this review. Never happened at any other Firehouse Sub, I’m stunned!

I received the wrong sandwich and was missing chips on my last order, and when I submitted feedback on the survey, they responded in a timely manner and offered to make it right next time I came in. I’ll definitely be back since they did me right on the return visit.

This Firehouse Subs was one of my worst experience, The beef was Half Frozen, Half Hot and it smelled rotten. The beef portions were small, doesn’t look like the picture on the menu, maybe half the thickness of beef. This might be a one off nad luck for them? But right now their review ratings is below a 4, I probably should have looked at the reviews prior to selecting this location. I had more people with me, one had a Chicken and the other a Hero and they weren’t happy with the quality and taste either, they said it didn’t taste fresh. So Im not sure what is wrong other than maybe some retraining by a professional from Headquarters and date and label foods and throw away the old. After all any old food thrown away is a business tax write off, so your not losing money. Bring back the Hot & Fresh and I’m sure people will come back.

This location is a mess. The store is cramped and in poor shape. It is badly managed which causes total confusion as to where you should stand and wait for your sandwiches. The ‘manager’ often takes orders at the register. Barely a greeting, no eye contact, nothing in terms of assistance or up-sell. One week the Coke machine was leaking on the floor. Another week the HVAC system was broke and so they had a portable unit blowing around smokey air- umm you do have an open grill cooking and therefore need ventilation. Great chain concept. This store is dump, cramped and service is sparse.
