This is probably one of the most authentic North western Indian food ever!!! Been coming here since 2019. They are open 24/7 and although the management or staff has changed over the years the taste remains the same!!! The saag and masala chai combo with samosa over here is something to die for. The atmosphere is something that is biased towards a Indian truck stop vibe which actually resonates the Punjabi culture if you were to be in India and you stop by a desi Punjabi dhaba.

It’s a good to go food place. Food is pre cooked and it’s decent. Don’t expect it to be next level tasty but it’s ok. Prices are cheap and you get a lot of options for Indian food!! I had lunch in under 10 dollars which is pretty affordable according to the locality. They also have sweets and a few options for namkeens. They have indoor seating too, but i guess it’s self service.

The food was great and the green chutney was tasty. They have friendly worker. I would not use their restroom, it was very dirty. However, overall food experience was great.

In new York we decided to have breakfast from Desi Deli Indian Restaurant. We ordered the food and picked up the food. For the breakfast we ordered Bhutara Cholaa, Paneer Parantha and Aloo Parantha. Only cholaa that we ordered was edible from the order rest of the food was okay. The Parantha didn’t have the required taste. It seems like masala was not prepared well for the parantha. The parantha’s definitely need to be improved.

WORST INDIAN FOOD! I ordered Aloo Parantha because I read from someone else’s review that the Aloo Parantha is good. The potatoes had no flavor, seemed as if they just boiled the potatoes and didn’t mix any spices in it. The raita was too runny and seemed as if it is buttermilk.

If you love Indian food don’t go there! We used to go here for a great meal that is also very affordable. It lost its quality over the years. Food has no taste, No Indian touch at all. Horrible. Sad to unsave this place.

Authentic, affordable and friendly. Desi deli is probably one of the better dhaba-style Indian eateries on the west side or even Manhattan. The food is very good, for the price. The decor is not fancy and the fact that it’s open 24 hours is great for late nights.

Big fan of their parathas for home delivery. Went to eat in this time and tried a bunch of things on their menu. Good taste, generous portions and very quick.
