It has really gone down hill with current owners. They never have food out and they won’t bring it out until 2 or 3 people start asking. This is even during the prime lunch and dinner times. There is never more than 1/4 of any pan full at anytime so usually everyone is scraping what is left in the pan. Nice appearance inside but poorly ran. You get dirty looks from the owners there if you go back for more than one plate. The young server girl there is the only one that has any customer service skills and she does a good job. This hasn’t happened once but 3 times over the last month so 3 strikes your out. I’m done and going somewhere else. Check other sites lots of bad reviews for this place.

Absolutely terrible. Hardly any food on buffet. What was on the buffet was cold and chewy. Never have I been somewhere that is so quiet and no people. I guess I know why no people now. Only seen one person the whole time we were there. There was never anything replaced on the buffet at all. I will never go back it was not worth the money that was paid. It does not even deserve one star but I have to put that.

Have stopped a couple of times for the buffet and was never happy; but decided to try take out tonight. Very disappointed, spring rolls crispy on outside but mushy & flavorless inside, soup awful, as was fried rice and chicken/zucchini. Won’t be stopping here again, food quality has really deteriorated over the years.

Horrible. I didn’t enjoy this buffet at all. The chicken made me sick. I called the restaurant after returning to Roanoke to talk about receiving a refund on my credit card. No such luck. They were very upset to hear I got sick and even asked “Are you sure you got sick from our food”? I am sure. They were all I had eaten for several hours. Min’s in Moneta was the worst of the worst and now I have stomach cramps. It’s extremely uncomfortable. I never got a refund. I talked to the owner on the phone and she was a very rude woman. Not sure she really was the owner the way she was talking. She told me to wait several times too while she was talking to customers and answering another phone. I could hear it in the background. Never apologized and never offered to refund and make things right. Just said “I regret this happened.” and that was it. If you regret it so much, why don’t you refund my money back on my card?

Apparently there has been some changes in management. They are now serving pre-made frozen egg rolls that you can get at Kroger. The french style chicken and shrimp use to be my favorite dish because of the creaminess….tonight i was served a plate of oil…. not sure we will be going back anytime soon

My family and I come here two or three times a year. It’s very hit and miss as far as the food goes. Tonight I had Lo Mein on the buffet. The first batch-Fantastic! Second batch- salty. The chicken(all of it) is bland. Wontons are actually great! Sweet and sour sauce was fantastic! A quite insane change occured since last I ate there…You have to get your own napkins and silverware! Umm…I only do that at cafeterias….And they are usually wrapped in a cloth napkins. I would really like to see this place stay open but if nothing improves, it will fail, especially if most of their clientele on a Saturday night are elderly people… And not even many of them at that…

My family and I come to the lake sometimes on Saturday and Sunday. We loved this restaurant. Recently as another reviewer stated its gone far down. I don’t know if its due to the owners. As far as I’ve known they have been the same owners for a while. My complaint stems from the way I was treated when I came here by myself. Theres 2 young girl waitresses, probably 14 – 16 years old. I remember my wife and I coming in and talking to them, while they weren’t that busy. They are american born chinese. They told us about chinese / american differences, etc etc. I came in by myself Oct. 11 2015 and their mom/ aunt came out, she was frowning. Very unfriendly. Asked me why I came alone, and said I should bring someone to eat with me. She also told me I should buy a little more food. Then made a comment in broken english, * You don’t buy a lot of food because you eat by yourself, right *. I told her I was taking the food to share with my wife and they laughed, including the younger girls. Very rude, and they gave me dirty stares as I was leaving. The aunt further commented saying * If you are married bring your wife with you, and do not talk to people if they are working* Don’t they remember when we used to come in? .. Also there was only 2 people in the whole dining area at that time when I came in by myself. Thats absolutely terrible service and plain insulting to say to a customer. Deserving of 1 star. They still get 2 though because I loved the food. … However not sure ill be back. I am still kind of shocked they made such comments.

Almost no food on the buffet and what was there looked old. Server brought me the wrong drink and was not very friendly. There was a lot of yelling going on in the kitchen area. We decided not to eat there and paid for the drink and left. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Good food, but definitely needs a cleaning /remodel. Staff need to not argue in the restaurant period, not on the floor, or back. Staff need to treat customers with respect and kindness.
