If you are looking for great food and service Brinkley Country Kitchen is the place. My husband had the frog legs and they were fresh and yummy. They were so kind to my kids after they both spilled their drinks everywhere. It was a great place to stop after our long trip back to Texas.

The staff was super nice! The fried chicken, lima beans and collard greens were great but the mashed potatoes were instant and the corn wad canned. I would not stop again.

I was a nervous bride traveling 4 hours one-way with FSIL to visit Low’s Bridal. We arrived and we were HUNGRY. This place was incredible. I haven’t had stewed okra like this since I was a child. I could have eaten an entire plate of that alone, but they had pork roast in drippings that was so tender that a knife would be blasphemy. The ladies there were so sweet and honestly calmed my pre-dress shopping jitters with enthusiastic encouragement, saying I would absolutely find my dress there (I did!). This is the definition of soul food. They nourish your heart and fill your belly!

Great find on our road trip. The food is all made from scratch and the folks are very friendly. Defiantly worth bypassing the chains along the interstate and going into downtown Brinkley for some real food.

Although I was already thinking of ways to improve upon what we ate, the owners were very friendly, and the food was good with ample servings for the price. It’s a little hole in the wall, so unless you’re looking for it, you might miss this diamond in the rough.

The restaurant is a 4 mile drive from the highway for travelers, but well worth it. Excellent food and great staff. I will go there again if I drive thru that niche of the state again.
