I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about. The food here is excellent! A guy from the Lexus dealership recommended this place, and I’m glad he did! The food is fresh and delicious. The lady taking our order was very kind and patient with us since we don’t speak spanish. We ordered the 3 combo meal and a burrito and for dessert, we ordered the crepes. One chocolate with strawberries and real whipped cream on top and one dulces de Leche with a cream inside and whipped cream on top. We live about 40 minutes away, but we will definitely make the drive for the food. So worth it!

A friend recommended that we try this place, so it was my first time going and it won’t be my last. Looking at their online menu prior to going, I saw that they have quesadillas de rajas ( I love rajas). Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated right away. They have a bowl and a salsa cup at every table to so that guests can serve themselves chips and salsa from the salsa bar. I ordered the quesadilla de rajas (which comes in a plate of 3 made with corn tortillas from the appetizer section) and I ordered 2 tacos de asada, and molletes (also from the appetizer section). Now, the service is great and the food delicious, but it does take some time for the food to come out.. however, Because the food was exceptional, I didn’t mind the wait.

I was looking in the maps for a recommended mexican restaurant for breakfast, this place pop up with a reasonable reviews and I went there with good expectations. There are in the menu 118 items (crazy) I ordered a plate I tought was the best of them (chilaquiles de mole and café de la olla) the girl brought me my coffee and some kind of syrup for mix with the regular coffee and voilà I get “café de la olla”; then she served my food plate, I realized that the food was microwaved because the cheese on my food was melted, the side potatoes doesn’t have any seasoning and canned beans. In conclusion I think does not worth $15 plus tip for the food and the coffee because their food is not good enough, you take your own chance, but for me once is enough.

Great food. Short staffed. Piloncillo for my cafe de olla was a bit watered down.

I was originally dubious because the reviews on Yelp aren’t all that great; however it is a surprisingly cozy and authentic Mexican joint. The menu is huge and carries everything from fusion foods to menudo. My mom had the gecko pasta, which I thought was alright (comes with appetizers). I liked my Fideo soup more, and definitely enjoyed my cafe de la olla. Best thing were the free chips and nice staff. Worst thing was the wait to get seated (about 15 minutes, but there were open tables).

The service was very slow and the waitress didn’t speak English so it was hard to communicate. We won’t go back. The food was okay.

Hadn’t been here in awhile and I have to say this place has gone down in quality. Came during the week. Not busy only one other group was there. My breakfast was cold and our coffee was cold. Quality does definitely not match the price. You’ll find better food at La Poblana.
