Everything we ate was prepared well and so good. We are from Kansas and we were amazed at the large size of scallops and shrimp. And their chicken fried steak would rival most in Kansas in taste, price, & portions. Very reasonably priced.

We were in town visiting family & this is where they wanted to go for lunch. Food was good. Being from New Orleans I tend to critique seafood a little more. The special for the day was, 2 pieces of fish, 3 fried shrimp, 2 crab cakes. UNFORTUNATELY, our waitress who was Caucasian & spoke English well, did NOT use her words & explain to use how the special worked. My husband, my son & I love shrimp & asked if we could have the special but add a few more shrimp. Waitress said yes, but DID NOT TELL US that we would NOT GET the crab cakes!!!!

My son got the crawfish and said it was good but shells were really hard to crack on some. I got the shrimp – always large and cooked perfectly! Hubby got the catfish, which is a family favorite. We never go wrong choosing to eat at Bay Seafood, Conroe!

The food was good, but they only had one waitress working on a Saturday even. I am not sure if someone called in, or if that is the norm. Surprisingly, she handled it very well, it was pretty busy! It did take a little while, but she was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very hot inside, so our dinner was not as enjoyable as it could have been. Overall, it is a great place to go for some shrimp!

First time eating here, don’t go by the budget decor 🙂 it’s a good spot. Food was very good, salad was fresh and crispy, grilled fish was fresh and seasoned just right. Tartar sauce had a homemade flavor to it, as did the salad dressing. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and timely. I hope they continue to keep up quality of food and service and not get lazy like a lot of initially good places seem to do

Done with it! Thought it was just me till I read the other reviews. Been our go to place for many years. Wife got chicken fried steak the other day and it was unrecognizable. Not tenderized way overcooked, tough as a boot. Nothing like I’ve ever seen! Showed waitress, she spoke to manager, no response. Wife didn’t want to take it home for the dog. Noticed the place is not kept up well but overlooked it. Not taking a chance eating bad food. Sorry, Bye!

Every Friday and Saturday is 11.99 shrimp dinner the shrimp are comes perfectly they are always big and juicy. I’ve been going there a while now and the shrimp have been conned the same way each time. GREAT-////-updated version. Prices went up, service went down. I guess I’ll just stay out of town. ( Used to travel 40 minutes to eat here every week) the cost of food went up but not the service.

I’d give a 0 star review if I could. The salads that came out with our meal had brown lettuce and rotten tomatoes in it. I’ve been there off and on throughout the last 12 years and service has usually been good and the food used to he good about 7 years ago but the food has become horrible as of late. I would recommend going somewhere else to eat unless you want your next trip following it to be the restroom to get sick. I will never be back and I recommend that they have someone go through and clean house in the back and get some better qualified individuals in back running things.

Love the food and service is great. My hubby and I have eaten here for years and we are regulars. All the people know us by name and ate always like family when we eat there. Oysters are great fried, catfish is also a favorite as well as the Fried shrimp specials!!! We eat there at least three to four times a month.
