Drove here to make my husband try corndogs for the first time and he enjoyed it! We came back again but unfortunately our corndogs were a little over cooked, maybe it’s just that day since they were busy, regardless the corndogs were still crunchy and yummy. We will still definitely come back for my husband’s corndog needs. I wish they had half mozzarella and half sausage! I understand they don’t have it since again, as I’ve mentioned above they try to make everything premade since it can get crazy busy. Don’t get me wrong I saw one of the employees making it and it’s fresh still. Sadly, I wasn’t able to take pictures of the corndog during our first visit. I assure you it wasn’t over cooked.

Mat Jib is located inside of an Asian grocery store and be prepared for an experience! The market itself has endless items, a fresh bakery, and a food court. Mat Jib is located in the food court and are easy to find. The service was great and the cashier was very polite. We ordered the potato and the half-n-half Korean corn dogs. They were drizzled with ketchup and honey mustard and were hot and fresh when our food was ready. I’m not big on corn dogs, but these were delicious! Plenty of cheese and plenty of flavor. Definitely a must try!

This hot dog (and corndog) junkie had never had a Korean Corndog and had to give it a shot. Getting it with sugar and ketchup was hard for me, but I always get something how the place makes it the first time a try it. I went with a Half & Half and a Potato, and I wasn’t disappointed. The dogs came out hot and crispy, and I was greatly impressed. Does the Korean Corndog rate above my standard Carolina Hot Dog? Nope, but that’s okay. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Located inside of the H Mart. This is a very interesting grocery store to explore. They have they best fruit and produce. The Mat Jib is one of several vendors in the food court. They have a display showing the options, you place the order and wait for your number to be called. We did the original and the potato corndog. The breading reminds me of doughnut or funnel cake, especially the original which is sugar coated. The potato one is like fried mashed potatoes. Can get the ketchup and mustard on the side or dressed on top. It is better with those toppings but we selected to have on the side and could have used another pack each. Very interesting to try. Worth going once to experience but not something we would want more than once.

I love their corndogs! I always get either the half&half corn dog which is crunchy on the outside and cheesy inside, or the potato corndog which has potato pieces on the outside. They use chicken sausage for all their corndogs which is a good option for those who can’t eat pork. The staffs are very nice as well. Highly recommended!

I never had a Korean corn dog that had the batter raw in the inside. Ordered two different corn dogs and both had chewy raw batter, wasn’t cooked all the way inside. Would taste way better if they didn’t add fries on the outside and use regular cut up potatoes instead.

So glad there is a Korean Corn Dog place in Cary, NC! They are so tasty and the all mozzarella corn dog is my favorite! They also have so many kinds of sushi to choose from and it’s delicious!
