Good parking, excellent menu where food is always hot and fresh! Servers are friendly, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable with menus and accommodating. Locals make new comers feel welcome. Definitely an experience worth returning too. This is a top 5 rating that has earned it! Never had a bad experience dining at the Tavern on Main! Having reviewed many service related industries especially restaurants, two words sum every dining experience at this establishment as “absolutely delicious”!!

Oh my, the chicken pot pie was piping hot and a terrific meal on a cold day. Very LARGE!! Waitress was friendly and obliging. Definitely a must for an out of towner!!!

Always such a great place to get some tasty food! Reasonably priced, friendly staff. It is a smaller atmosphere so I wouldn’t bring a huge party. They recently switched to eco-friendly sauce cups instead of plastic ones! That made me so happy!!

To be honest, when we arrived on a Saturday for dinner, my sister and I were surprised at how quiet it was. When we walked in, there was a waitress talking with the pull-tab guy, and they both ignored us. We seated ourselves and saw another waitress taking the order from the only other table occupied in the bar area. We sat for about 15 minutes with no one acknowledging our presence. My sister had to go up to the waitress who was chatting with the pull tab guy and ask if she could help us. She said the other waitress could help us after she placed the other tables’ order. We should have walked out and were about ready to. What saved us was the other hard-working waitress that came over and apologized to us. It was her first day on the job. She looked familiar, and I discovered she had waitressed at other restaurants in the area. She was very professional and fun. She had a great attitude. The broasted chicken was a bit overdone to my liking, and the meal only came with 1 side. I was a bit bummed there was not a salad or Cole slaw that came with it.

I loved the place, I tried the lino Lucy and I thought it was delicious. One thing I will note about it is that I said it was spicy, but I wasn’t, at all. Either way it was delicious and I would go there again.
