Five Roos and a Dood
The chicken legs have barely any meat on them. The bulk of the size is the fried outside, and nine legs easily fit on a paper plate. Biting into them, the fried skin crumbles away and to reveal overcooked and unappetizing meat.

I have been eating at Church’s Chicken for over 40 years. They double bread the chicken. The breading and crunch can’t be beat. They have the best fried okra of any fast food restaurant. My Mom loves the breast, I love the legs and my daughter loves the tenders. We like the corn on the cob, the mashed potatoes with either brown or cream gravy and the honey butter biscuits. We were traveling and knew that fresh made chicken would be at Church’s. We were not disappointed.

I was here 2 hours before closing. They had already stopped cooking. I made an order from what they had available and it was barely warm. There were no working restroom in the building. I’m pretty sure that this is a health department violation. Chuches corporate really should visit this location.

Going downhill. Each time I’ve been in the past year, the food quality had been worse and they lack standard products such as spicy chicken and cole slaw. This time, on September 23,2021, they only had regular chicken, no wings, and not fries and okra. I bought the “special” for 6 people. I received one small packet of okra and fries. Enough for about 2 regular eating people. The last straw was that the chicken was old. Dried out. See attached pic. This is a chicken breast that looks like jerky. Had to throw it out.

Don’t bother, another review said their chicken was indescribable! That can be said for mine, the chicken wasnt cut properly before cooking, biting into what i thought was a thigh and got spine bones!! They didnt have mash potatoes or mac n cheese, so i ordered fries and they were soggy, my biscuit was the size of a quarter, didn’t rise. Very disappointed! Accept food shortage at near closing time but not at lunch time! Management ya needa get this store in order asap. So sad.
