I was seated and greeted by my waitress in less than a minute and ordered the BLT. It was delicious along with the glass of OJ! Respectfully priced and nice, quiet, and clean upscale environment. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.

Went here for the first time looking for some brunch. I initially had some skepticism as it’s in the casino, however it was great! Wife had the crab Benedict and i had mini waffles. Great food and even greater service. Special thanks to our server, Gigi!!!!

First visit here, and I was very impressed with their breakfast. It was delicious, hot, and fresh! Definitely recommend for visitors to check out. I wished I lived closer but sadly I’m all the way in North Texas lol

We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Service was good from our hostess and server. However we had to wait for our drinks which were wrong. We had about a 15 minute wait on our food which was okay because it was busy. Everyone had a hot delicious meal. The breakfast sandwich is a bit pricey considering you only get a sandwich. It was a good experience and we enjoyed our meal.

On a recent visit to L’auberge Casino and Hotel, i had eaten an excellent breakfast at the Favorites Southern Kitchen. They serve their breakfast menu items continuously throughout the day. Like their surroundings, decor & tableware which creates a warm southern atnosphere. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was almost One P.M. On this Monday the Casino and restaurant were full. Did not wait long outside on bench near receptionist to be called & seated. Other than their breakfast menu, most of the menu consisted of various sandwichs. Ordered an open faced shaven prime rib beef sandwich with Pavalone cheese and curly onions on top. French Fries came with the order. The sandwich tasted better than it looked. The pour on sauce was great. Amount of discount offered on one’s dining bill depends on level of Casino membership. Mine being the lowest was 5%. My bill came to around $15.00. Service was good.

I really enjoyed the food here 2days in a row. They also have excellent service! I tried the steak and eggs which was very tasty. The steak is a Ny strip and it goes well with the Tasso gravy. The chicken and waffles is delicious too. Honestly this is probably the best restaurant on property. Also the homemade biscuits are yummy!

Went to Favorites Southern Kitchen back in April. Had a short wait time before being seated. The waitress was kind and bought our drinks pretty quick. I ordered the waffle and chicken with a side of grits. The portion was pretty big. Waffle was cooked just right and the chicken was seasoned and flavorful. The dish came with hot sauce that went well with the chicken. The space is a little tighter then I would’ve liked.

The wait is long without a reservation and make sure your phone volume is on high. I missed the notification while waiting near the hostess desk. I responded a minute after their notification period expired and was placed back at the end of the list. The gumbo was tasty but being born in the state I expect gumbo to not have the consistency of soup. Don’t order steak unless you want passed well done. My niece ordered medium rare. There’s no way to justify the dry shoe leather that looked good on the outside except for poor meat skills on part of the cooking staff. It should have never made it out of the kitchen. Their eggs were a light whipped scramble. But my niece raved about the hashbrowns that were packed full of flavor with a crispy exterior and tender interior. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious with the fresh strawberries. The chicken and waffles failed to deliver. Which was a shame because the breading was great, even if it had no seasoning. It just couldn’t disguise the dry chicken. Overall, I will have to think about revisiting. I don’t like one time to prevent future visits. But the price tag with the quality delivered is a hard thing to overcome.

The ambiance and server was great. The food… very bland and disappointing. Grits were bland. Eggs were bland. Cajun shrimp was a joke. Very disappointing first meal of Louisiana. But the waffle was good. But you really can’t mess up a waffle.
