We were passing through on our way to another town when we became hungry. We noticed this restaurant and decided to stop in for a little bit of lunch. The wait staff was fabulous. This group of ladies really takes pride and ownership and delivering a quality product for a reasonable price. I ordered the tamales which were pretty good I just wish that they had a bit more flavor or spice to them and a larger portion because these were some of the small tamales. My companion ordered the mix fajitas and seemed to really enjoy them. Please come out and patronize this establishment you won’t regret it.

Service is ok and the people are very nice but it’s hot inside during the summer. If you order a half order of a plate, you may or may not get any of the trimmings. They do not tell you this, so ask! Also, often something is broke, like a machine, so you have to order different.

Service was fast, and good, though they were not busy. The food on the other hand, lacked their normal good quality. In the picture, you can just see the taco they served. It’s that milk chocolate colored shell, in front of the rice, tried to eat my lunch, just couldn’t.

I wish I could rate this place better because I usually am all about finding locally owned hidden gems. While the food wasn’t bad, it just didn’t toot my metaphorical horn. I felt like a plate from the lunch menu and a house margarita shouldn’t cost more than both of the other two meals of the day combined.

The waitress took my order. 30 minutes later, I still had no food. The girl at the counter simply stated that the order was put in, but the cook would not cook it. Then the waitress laughed in my face. I have no idea why. I ordered the tacos. Not sure what happened but I will never return.
