Our visit was lovely! I especially enjoyed the bruschetta chicken with baked potato. The location is fabulous and we loved the feel on the building and historic furniture pieces. So lovely to dine and walk over to the Lincoln Historic Home across the street. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant. We came in before they closed. All our food was amazing. Check out the cute buns. The venue is beautiful and will keep you looking around at the art and architecture of the building.

Cool little place to eat. The staff were friendly and the food delicious. I highly recommend the catfish IF they’re offering it. Hamburger’s are great also. The baked potatoes have a cream & chive topping that is not only unique but very good as well.

Love this place. I had their Steak with cheddar grits (and delicious scallops) and it was fantastic. I love our local gems and Springfield Carriage Co. definitely fits the bill! Chef Mike is cooking up some REALLY creative and delicious stuff all while being reasonable with prices. Keep up the good work, I will be telling my friends!

WOW!! We went to Springfield Carriage Co. Over the weekend. It was awesome. If you haven’t been, it’s in the Abraham Lincoln home area. In a old home converted into a restaurant. The waitress said it’s a 180+ yrs old I think. And the first house in that area to be two story. There is outside dining downstairs as well as indoor dining downstairs. Same goes for the upstairs also. We ate on the upstairs balcony with a view of the Lincoln home area, it was really cool. Last week was 217 specialty horseshoe week so I had their special shoe it was amazing, the Mrs had the regular hamburger shoe, kids had burgers and chicken wrap. And of course I had to have a bite of all of it everything was excellent. I really really like this place great food good service and an awesome atmosphere!!!! Go check it out!!!!!

Don’t miss this family owned business in a historic building right across from Lincoln’s own neighborhood. I especially recommend coming for brunch. We split three different menu items and all of them were exemplary. Try the mimosa flight! Our server was the owner’s daughter. She is knowledgeable not only about her restaurant but also about the town. My friends and I had made an agreement to try different restaurants for every meal, but we nearly broke that to come back to try more of the Springfield Carriage’s dishes. The only reason we didn’t is because we had too many leftovers from our various meals to justify going out again.
