Hush puppies are some of the best you’ll find. The slaw is outstanding. The BBQ itself is flavorful but dry without the sauce. The baked beans are a little too sweet for me but that’s just my preference. The service is top notch.

We ate here today. We decided to eat here based on it’s high rating. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is nice. Everyone in our group thought the hushpuppies were good. The ribs had no flavor, the baked beans had an odd flavor, and the “barbecue” sauces were mainly vinegar…. I like a vinegar barbecue sauce, but this had the consistency of water, and very little flavor. They garnished the plates with pickles on top of all of the food….this is neither good, nor bad…..it just seemed odd. I would not return.

Best hush puppies in Shelby. Pulled pork is great. Love the BBQ slaw. Service is always fast and very good. Our waitress remembers the order of the ‘regulars’ in our party, which is always a plus.

Worst bbq I’ve ever had. Sauce it Terrible. It was supposed to be chopped pork, came out blended pork. Hush puppies had no flavor. Coleslaw should not have sour bbq water in it..

Love this place. I haven’t been in years and it’s just as good if not better. Simple menu, BBQ, Chicken, hushpuppies, slaw, baked beans and fries. Down home cooking couldn’t make it much better if I did it myself. Service was on point, place was clean and very helpful. Can’t wait to go back. This place is delicious. Think I rediscovered my new go to on the regular.
