I got the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, brisket, and some amazing burnt ends. Wish they had a veggie side option to lighten it a little (even just corn), but overall really liked and would go back again. I ordered lunch for takeout on a Friday and it was not busy.

Absolute best smoked meats! If you know smoked meats then this is your place to come. The side dishes are out of this world as well don’t forget the cheesy potatoes and mac & cheese! My 10-year-old daughter couldn’t get enough! I saw the reviews before we came here and it showed red color on the chicken. That just means good smoked meats it looks different than oven prepared or grill prepared meat. I wouldn’t be afraid to bring my family here every time we come to the area.

This isn’t the Baldys I loved. Now, there’s very little bbq on the menu since they changed in. The pulled pork sandwich was all bun and very little meat. The half slab of ribs was about 2 inches by 5 inches. This was the smallest portion I’ve ever had. $14 for the little bit of ribs and no sides. I lived their macaroni and cheese and baked beans but they’re no longer on the menu. Now. It’s polish sausage and hot dogs. There was a wait at every restaurant in town but not here. I don’t recommend Baldys any more. Very sad.

I was very excited about visiting a highly rated smokehouse in Michigan on my way to the tulip festival in Holland. The customer service here was top-notch, however, customer service does not compensate for poor quality barbecue. I ordered their family meal for 8 people, which is quite a bit of food. Unfortunately, most of that food was inedible, which was unfortunate because I’d spent over $100 at this place.

I’m not even much of a meat eater, but this place is wonderful. I had the brisket and pulled pork plate with the cole slaw (unique and delicious) and the cheesy potatoes. Even the bread is not your standard piece of white bread. I’ll be back, and my dog will be extra happy!

One of the worst hotdogs we have ever had! Sam’s Club hotdogs are much better… Most drinks in the drink machine were out, and it was only 11:30 am! Not recommended.

I think I caught them when they were first opening which is always a hit-or-miss situation. But, my brisket and bbq beans were out of sight. I’d go back again and see how they’re progressing. Great location in downtown.

Baldy’s has a very cool space and the workers were pleasant, glad that we were finally able to stop in. Brisket seemed a little dry and the elote corn on the taco was cold which I wasn’t excepting. The Mac and cheese was good but nothing special. Overall my experience was fine, but I was expecting more.
