We had our wedding there last month and Virgina was absolutely wonderful! I could not have asked for a better venue or a better person to help us. Amazing!! Great customer service. Even while hosting a big party, our group was treated as VIPs and special. Great view of the golf course. Interior had great atmosphere. Highly highly recommend. We were told our food would be a 20 min wait due to a large party having just ordered. When requested as I was having a diabetic issue, they immediately offered soup to tide me over. Excellent. I will be planning a return trip soon!!

This is my first time eating their brunch. It was delicious . It covered all the bases for me. The 2 biggest surprises were the biscuits and eggs. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the biscuits were soft as pillows . The service is always great they make you feel like family. They also have an omelet station. One of the best places for lunch in Winona. Onion rings are some of the best anywhere. Their batter is so light and almost no hint of extra grease. The ribeye steak sandwich was delicious. My better half had the patty melt and said it was awesome. The host and business owner, Virginia was delightful and prompt. We’ll be back often as we can.

Whalen’s at Westfield is Top tier when it comes to dine in restaurants in the Winona area. I have attended a Mother’s Day brunch, Thanksgiving dinner, and have causally dined here and every time Virginia and the staff knock it out of the park. I can’t recommend this place enough. Deserves more than 5 Stars in my opinion!

Super great New Year’s Eve meal. The food was excellent as usual and the servings were huge! the price for roast sirloin, corn, huge baked potato, big salad, more meat than you could imagine and Cheesecake. Oh and a bun. We had enough left over for tomorrow. Thank you Virginia and Jim! Happy New year’s!
