This place is incredible! The atmosphere is casual, warm, and welcoming. The seafood is seriously fresh, it is as if you are coming to a seaside restaurant! Everything is homemade/made with love and delicious. The servers are genuinely HAPPY and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Highly recommended!!

Have been a long time patron of The Washington. Every meal has been fabulous, the service is major league including that of a young lady named Antonella. Having known the staff there for several years and warmly welcomed by name on each visit, there is a sense of being home and being with family, something that can’t be or isn’t replicated elsewhere. Bravo Frank and his fabulous staff – you guys rock, and that’s from a died in the wool New York Italian!

We had a great experience today at this place , we came with a group of 13, originally thought the group may have been as high as 30 and they were eager to accommodate us either way, and were very understanding when it ended up being less than half of that, with one day notice.

I was here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food was not great, but it was good. The problem I have if I eat here is the service and the time to get the meal. Whether I am there by myself or with 8 people. The one guarantee that l can give is, you WILL be waiting a very long time for your food! I’ve been here about a half dozen times. Not even one of those times was the food brought out in a timely manner. When you get 2 coffee refills, the food is taking too long!

First thing The food was fabulous. On the other hand the service was horrible. Our server ANTONELLA S if you want to call her that was horrible.Not a pleasant attitude at all. She took our order,when she brought it out wife asked for extra butter an she acted like it was a chore. Wife’s food was cold an Antonella never came back to ask how we were doing. So wife couldn’t tell her it was cold.Another server came an asked if we wanted a container to take home. Then a second differant server came an asked if we wanted dessert an she brought it out. Low an behold our original server Antonella came with check an then asked how everything was. When told not good food was cold she just walked away.Had to ask a 3rd differant server to take our check to pay it. Needless to say Antonella got the tip she deserved. This place has great food an a good atmosphere but our server needs to be let go.She will give this place a bad name real quick with her next to none service.

My family loved this place. The last time we went will be out last time though. We had 12 people and the waitress was all over the place. I found a piece of plastic in my sandwich and at the end of the evening the waitress knocked over the remaining meal ( fish) (not cheap)onto the floor. Fell right out of the to go box. She noticed didn’t seem to care. Also they should open the nicer room. Beautiful in there compared to the stark white walls and falling ceiling tiles of the one they mostly use.
