I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. All these years later, I’m still going as much as I can. Now I’m taking my own kids! This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Yonkers. The food here is excellent! The service is top notch! You can pick anything from the menu and you are guaranteed a delicious, traditional Italian dish that tastes homemade.

Food is ok. I wasn’t really wowed with it even though my friends were talking about this place for awhile. My baked clams had no flavor. The Caesar salad was very soggy with dressing. The garlic bread with cheese was alright.

It was an incredible surprise to try this place! The owner is very attentive and kind, going around the tables greeting customers. Also, the staff is very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The food is authentic homemade Italian, just delicious. They have a good selection of dishes. We had an incredible experience and surely will come back again.

Pizza beat is simply the best Italian restaurant! I have been coming here for years and everyone is always so welcoming. Is one of the few places that I feel comfortable bringing my 4 and 6 year old. Food is amazing!!! (try the calamari and shrimp fried Diablo) The owner is always very attentive, definitely worth all 5 stars and more. Even tho I moved an hr away, every time I’m in Yonkers I always end up in pizza beat. We love it!

This place was great! We had a party of about the 10+ for a birthday, and the service was outstanding. Food was delicious!! We were sat in an area that gave us privacy which was really nice. 10/10!! Again, the service could not have been better.. what wonderful people!!

Entered this restaurant yesterday and was met with an extremely bad odor of urine. I was greeted by a server and promptly seated in the large dining area. The odor was so bad that when I mentioned it to the person I was with we were both nauseated. Since it was the only place in the area that had a good selection of beer. So nauseated or not we decided to stay and check it out. We ordered the combo appetizer plate and Blue moon beer. The appetizer was a typical appetizer nothing special to write home about. The beer was great, cold and clean from a tap. After a few pints of blue moon the odor of urine subsided. The servers were attentive. We had two servers, the first was a young man tall in stature and the other one was a very attentive young woman. If it had not been for the strong urine odor I would’ve given this restaurant at least 3 or 4 stars overall. Probably will not go there again. Or maybe I will, and give it a second review. Central Ave was my haunt back in the days before Covid. And I was shocked to see how many restaurants closed “for good” along the strip. I traveled an hour and twenty minutes to get there. And was to say the least overall disappointed. The server was definitely worthy of the twenty dollar tip I left him. Hopefully my return visit goes better.
