Friendly service and tasty sandwiches and salads. Capriotti’s delivers flavor. The small cheese steak sandwich seemed a little overcooked, but it was delicious. The salad seemed a little light on the chicken quantity compared to some other salads, yet the flavors combined for a great taste and satisfaction. Overall 4 star experience.

My husband and I tried Capriotti’s in Riverton for the first time last week. I need to eat gluten free and was happy to see salads on the menu. I chose the balsamic chicken salad. It was a nice size and the flavorful cheese and nuts made up for the lack of chicken. My husband chose the beef cheesesteak. It was loaded with high quality beef and he really liked it.

I walked into the store at 8:05pm on a Saturday night. There was one person waiting for a to go order. They told me that they were going to start to close in 5 minutes and that it would take 20 minutes to make me a sandwich, so I decided to leave because that seemed like an excessive wait and he didn’t seem like he wanted me to dine in the restaurant. Note: closing time on Saturday night is 9pm! That’s 55 minutes until closing. I walked back to the car and I had a 20 minute drive ahead of me and I needed to use the restroom, so I went back into the store and the 2 employees were the only ones in there and they were just standing around chit chatting and there were ZERO customers. It’s extremely lazy that almost an hour before closing time, I basically get turned away at a fast food restaurant. I will only go into a food place if it’s more than 30 minutes before closing time because I have had this experience several times before, but 55 minutes!!? I’ve really wanted to try this sandwich shop and I happened to be in the neighborhood. Extremely disappointed. It smelled really good.

I used to love this place but it started going downhill since the Manager Matt left (I’m pretty sure that was his name) now I never see him and I assume he quit. The food is now nasty, the restaurant was dirty, and the customer service was not that good compared to how it used to be.
