We’d never heard of a Roy Rodgers before – but we’d heard of the actor. First thought was that it was a mix of Hardee’s and Arby’s but with fried chicken and an amazing breakfast spread. But let me tell you that we were wrong. IT WAS BETTER! Actual sliced roast beef sandwiches. Onion rings golden and beer battered. Burgers with flavor. A fixin table allowed you to put just about anything you wanted on your sandwich – and I didn’t even take a picture of all the sauces. We left surprised and thinking of how we could start a franchise of our own in our home state that sadly has none. Even the staff were laughing and enjoying where they worked. Try it yourself!

Very neat concept! If you order a hamburger, roast beef, or other sandwich, they have a huge “sandwich toppings bar” where you put whatever sandwich toppings you want on your sandwich, just the way you want it.

Stopped in for some roast beef. Sooo good! One of the best fast food meals in existence here. Store is well staffed with friendly, efficient, fully masked people, tables all freshly wiped down. Not crowded.

Less hit or miss than most other chains, food is real. They’ve always been a little pricey, but the quality is usually higher too. It’s a once a week at least for me as far back as I can remember. I love that if there is ever an issue it’s never a hassle to get it corrected. Best Roast Beef sandwich hands down when it’s made to spec.

I always go to this location since it is close to where I work, and they are always super nice and always get my order right. Even when it’s been super busy they take the time to make sure the customer gets a great experience. Amanda especially is awesome and so on top of everything! But this Roy Rogers is great as a whole and I’ve been to some that aren’t so great. Will continue to come here

Very disappointed in what used to be my favorite fast food restaurant as a kid. Took a years long hiatus from frequenting any Roys in the Frederick area due to declining quality but decided today to give them another chance. Fries were limp and stale, and the chicken had clearly been sitting out for the bulk of the day. Thankfully the coleslaw was as good as ever, and the people working the drive through were kind, courteous, and efficient, but unfortunately because of the people working the kitchen they were left serving sh** with a smile. I really want Roys to succeed and I really want to be able to enjoy their success myself, but until they take a serious stance on quality control I won’t be going back anytime soon.
