Rich’s Lushes Left Breast
I got the brisket plate, with Mac and coleslaw for the sides, it also comes with a piece of cornbread. The brisket was absolutely immaculate, as tender as tender can be, super juicy and very well seasoned. Big points for using cavatappi for the Mac as that’s my go-to when making Mac at home. I will say I think the Mac could benefit from just an extra dash from the seasoning department, but nonetheless is was extremely creamy. The coleslaw was crisp and not too tangy, just right, also the sauce is light and thin which in my opinion, is exactly how coleslaw should be. Coleslaw with a thick and creamy sauce just isn’t it, so I am glad that was not the case. Now for the cornbread, just a slice of heaven right there. I am super biased because, well who doesn’t love cornbread, but every bite you could tell it was made with love. I will 100% be back to try their other menu items. One final note, the lady and gentlemen I encountered were super nice and the place just had a real home like energy. This was a meal that just makes your whole day.

Ordered for a work function in Norwood. Sweet baby jesus this food was AWESOME. I had the pulled pork and the flavor was out of this world. I also had to have the Apple Bread Pudding because it would be rude not to try it. INCREDIBLE. Will definitely be getting this again!

Just sat and ate the 2 meat combo. (Brisket and pulled pork) I almost couldn’t finish it. Almost. The meat was delicious, and lightly sauced as I had asked. I also got mashed potatoes and collards which were also fantastic. The cornbread was like none I’ve ever had, but in a very good way. Service was fast and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving some good local Barbecue. I will be back to check the rest of the menu.

Incredible BBQ and Bob, the owner and chef, is awesome. Super nice guy. The apple bread pudding is out of this world, the brisket is absolutely perfect. This place competes with the best barbecue I have had in Texas.

I ordered out… was so looking forward to it. Got three bbq half chicken dinners. And pulled pork sandwich… cost $60. Wasn’t impressed with flavor of thier “signature rub.” Pulled pork sandwich was ok… Thier bbq sauce was doable.. but didn’t care for it… maybe just my taste buds. But won’t waste any more money on that… I really wanted to like it…

Got the brisket since good brisket is a sign of good BBQ. Side of collards. Brisket and collards was cooked perfect. Collards were not too salty/bacon-y which is often overdone to cover them up.

Great little take-out BBQ joint located right here in Norwood at Mr Frank’s. I travel often to KC, TX, GA, places well known for the BBQ, and I have to say this one is right up there with some of the best. Keep up the good work, Bob!
