Large menu. The food was tasty but arrived at our table lukewarm. The restaurant looks very small from outside but is spacious and pleasant inside. We ordered combination plates. I ordered Kung pao chicken which the menu said was “hot” (hot from peppers), but was not spicy hot at all.

The food was average in flavor, I do wish that they made some kind of spicy sauce because what we did get was more sweet than it was spicy. I would be willing to try this place again because it was clean inside and the food wasn’t bad, the service was fast and polite.

Ive been to Eureka about three times this year from Reno and I’ve always purchased thai teas from the business directly across from the Tea Garden Cafe. Today I stopped by and this has got to be one of the best places Ive ate at in this town. The prices are reasonable, and the food comes out pretty quickly, it is equally flavored and served in such a polite manner. I’d definitely recommend a visit here.

This is some of the most disgusting food that we’ve ever eaten. I knew it was disgusting from 9 years ago but figured they deserved another chance so we decided to try them again.

Over all this place should be avoided even if you are starving. Orange Chicken was tasteless and soggy, the szechuan beef was tasteless soggy and had a weird sauce that was neither spicy or flavorful, and the only good part was the chow mein chinese style it actually had flavor. For the price I paid it should have been way better.

Place looks nice but the Kung Pao chicken is more like kung pao celery. Jesus! Think I’m good for the month on my vegetable intake.

The food is awful! Looks and tastes like it was previously battered and frozen with some sauce poured over it! The honey walnut prawns was almost tasteless, the sparse sauce was lacking honey! and there was too much batter. Also the sweet and sour pork had no vegetables, just pork and sauce! and the pork was also battered.

The restaurant is neat & clean. The food is delicious. The presentation is very good as you can see from the pictures I posted.

If we eat Chinese in Humboldt County we eat at the Tea Garden. We enjoy the great food cooked with love, family atmosphere and kind and friendly service. My wife and I love this place and we have grown very fond of the people who run the restaurant. The food is the best. I was just telling my wife, I feel like this food is made with a love and care that you just don’t get in other buffets or Chinese restaurants in the area.
