Country Kitchen has been a part of the local scene for years and most of the customers are over 70 years old, but when I finish work, am tired, and just want a hot meal; I go there. The homemade meatloaf is really good. And I only eat half so that’s lunch for the next day. Also it has no pork in it. Maybe the prices are a little high for a fancier diner, but they have a Rewards Program that sends me coupons for free food. I’ve eaten there 3 times and both the service and the food have been good every time. I would say Country Kitchen is dependable for a decent, hot meal.

I ordered my food to go. Got meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy & mixed veggies & potato soup. The food, except the soup, was very bland had to put salt/pepper on everything. I ate some of the veggies & mashed potatoes they were ok. I tasted the meat but i didnt like it. The roll was really good but i only got 1 little roll & about 5 little butter containers wish i would have asked for more rolls. The veggies seemed microwaved the peas were all dried up. The potato soup was excellent i would eat that again i ordered the bowl & it was a bit small but great taste. I also got a slice of pumpkin pie which was also a little bland maybe whipped cream would have made it better. Overall i was a bit disappointed. I would eat there again but only to try the breakfast.

Decent food came here first time it was good. Keep in mind this is a older building so it really isn’t updated much at all. They have breakfast all day which was good didn’t have any problems with it. The patty melt was good with the fries were hot and tasty. The waitress was friendly she came enough times to make sure we had everything we needed. Was a good experience would recommend to try this place.

Waitress was very nice. Food was ok. had breakfast, but everything is cooked in an artificial butter-flavored oil that leaves a funky taste. most people who don’t use the product won’t notice, but I owned my own breakfast restaurant in New Jersey and have tried the oil once myself. I would definitely go back to try lunch or dinner, but breakfast wasn’t really for me. Everyone else in my group was happy.

Ate at Country Kitchen tonight after not eating here in about 7 years. We recalled not caring for the menu when we visited previously. I must say the menu now was impressive compared to what we expected. Everything was delicious, I had an avocado and bacon burger, hubby had a salad (the ranch was very good), we got an appetizer sampler, the kid’s meals’ satisfied them, we all had dessert, our service was great. I wish I knew her name. Very prompt, friendly, very good with our kids. We will definitely be back. It was so nice not having to drive all the way out to 50 for a good restaurant.
