Food was pretty good – better than the last time we visited and just the right amount. We ordered the patas bravas and they could have used more sauce. The potatoes were good, as was the sauce, but the ratio was off. They were fully staffed and we saw a lot of the staff just standing around. We arrived shortly before it got busy so we figured service would be good but we waited a good 5-10 minutes before our server even stopped at our tables to ask what drinks we wanted – and at that point we already knew everything we wanted. Beyond that, things were fine and it’s a fun twist on Mexican food in the area.

Went to celebrate my birthday. Hannah was great as our server. Food was outstanding. Margaritas were delicious. Salsas never disappoint. Birria tacos were out of this world delicious. Great time had by both of us and we thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday. Love the candle in my dessert!

Will not disappoint! Authentic food with an eclectic atmosphere. Started with drinks which consisted of a Mexican ashtray & mango margarita. Perfect blend of alcohol and flavor. My husband & I had different tacos and we were both very pleased with our choices, the side was rice & black beans which packed so much flavor in a little dish. We finished with an alcohol infused coffee and the flan. The flan had a perfect texture with a smoky flavored caramel sauce. Highly recommend!

Local favorite for a unique twist on tacos & Mexican cuisine. We tried the featured pork Kofta tacos which were very interesting with a quail egg on top and the side of rice & beans are always flavorful. The Elotes were actually one of my favorite appetizers & I couldn’t resist following it up with the Tamarind-Chile Pelotas which were amazing with every bite! Yum! Thank you a call out for the amazing mock tails & alternative drinking options! I appreciate you! The service here & servers are always professional, friendly, & helpful!

Well what do you know? Cedar Rapids has a fine dining experience worth looking forward to. I tried Caucho a couple years ago, it was fine but lackluster. Not bad just not anything worth going back for.

Honestly, I’m usually pretty good about taking photos of the dish I order, but this time was different. My eyes made contact with the enchiladas and queso fundido, and I just lost it. I devoured both delicious dishes (with my partner) before I could remember to take a photo. What I’m getting at is this place has FANTASTIC food, and looks absolutely beautiful. Highly highly recommend stopping by here for a drink and bite to eat!

Unbelievably good Mexican with truly authentic Mexican and Latin flavors. You won’t find chimichangas and huge burritos made with gummy flour tortillas and fake cheese here, but rather super flavorful tacos made with fresh ground corn masa tortillas and delicious entrees with great depth of flavor. Fabulous service and drinks as well! I can’t wait to take all my family members from Texas here – that isn’t something I’ve ever said about any restaurant in Iowa.

This place has the best salsa. They have a big selection to choose from and so far each single one we’ve tried is delicious. The Queso Fundido was the best I’ve had. Their Margaritas are spot on. The tacos are fantastic as well. Tried the Mexican ashtray beer, I really really enjoyed it. Perfect date night spot, good setting. Overall fantastic experience.
