I just ordered 2 fish and chicks platters collard greens and Mac and cheese. I only asked for one said they gave me double and charged me for it. The chicken wings is amazing, although it’s still slightly red in the middle the batter is perfect. Fish and shrimp Mac and cheese collards where ok. They forgot the fries in my platter. Hopefully I try again later on but it was mediocre. One thing I must say it’s not salty

First time calling just to inquire about the food and from the phone greeting, the man was so nice, friendly and funny so I had to stop in! Glad I did, the food was AWESOME, large servings and the sweet tea, you can tell “our” people made it. Definitely worth checking out! Support local businesses!!!

Probably the first mistake I made was ordering escovitch fish. It was bad. I don’t know how it was cooked. It had a fishy taste. The sauce was just giardeniera. The rice and peas was just unflavored black beans and white rice. It was a major disappointment and a waste of money. Never again.

I’m a big supporter of local businesses. After a long appointment at the salon, I decided to stop by and purchase chicken and waffles. Firstly, I asked for a piece of breast and I got 2 thighs; not a big deal but please communicate with your customers and secondly, the BIG deal, my chicken was not fully cooked. I was given bloody chicken and so for that, he lost a prospective customer. I was really looking forward to it but I’m very disappointed by what I received. Hospitality was good, food not so good.

My husband and I LOVE fish & chickz! The events with the DJ’s are amazing and fun too. Love that they have themed nights too! The vibe and energy is amazing and the atmosphere is top tier. Great service from people with great attitudes! Can’t wait to come back 🙂

Went to the NW location for the first time coming to this establishment and I was very impressed! The waiter was welcoming and nice. The food was amazing! The fish was fried and seasoned well, mac and cheese was amazing, and the collard greens were spot on. Definitely got my money’s worth and I cannot wait to return for more. The chef came out to check on us and he cooked his tail off! Great staff and atmosphere. I have also visited the Broadway location once before for takeout and the server and cook were friendly. Food was delicious!
