In my 20+ years living in the area I do not know how I never went to Wasabi34. I finally had an opportunity and was impressed. Their carrot ginger dressing is to die for. Definitely one of the tastiest. I also thoroughly enjoyed their appetizers – sushi pizza and firecracker rolls. I also got their Peking duck and soft shell crab rolls – delicious.

I love this place and its my regular place for the fresh sashimi/sushi. Toro is the best when they have it. The food is great and fresh. The staff is wonderful. Ask for the fish of the day if you feel like something new.

Sushi definitely was not fresh. Had a strong fishy smell. Ordered 2 different rolls and didn’t even finish it. Had a very slimey taste. Worse than Chinese buffet style sushi. Even the miso soup and salad weren’t fresh. The soup was clearly microwaved and the salad tasted old. I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

One of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The fish is always fresh, and it’s always great quality. Their options range from purist staples to inventive rolls and plates all for a reasonable price. For those who aren’t keen on raw fish, they offer plenty of cooked meats and fish dishes.

Sshh! Don’t tell anyone, but this is the best sushi you can get in central Jersey. I’m hoping the secret doesn’t get out, making them busier and raising prices. There’s an obvious passion for the art of sushi here and it shows in every dish. The place itself is tiny and unremarkable on the inside and out. And the food can take a long time during their busiest hours. But it’s definitely worth the wait!
