This is the real deal. New York style sandwiches with friendly service. Not a lot of room to dine in but food quality makes up for it. The Rueben sandwich was outstanding, served with freshly made thousand island dressing on the side.

Good place to get a quality satisfying sandwich. I believe there was a location in Fox Chapel, but when I visited, it was closed. The Squirrel Hill location has many of the classic sandwiches, like Ruebens, Cheese, chicken Florentine, meatball, among others. I decided to try their cheesesteak sandwich (not the sub), their eclair, and the cannoli.

If you love a good sub, meatballs or sandwiches, give this business a chance, I am a repeating customer and will be until I leave Pittsburgh. Staff is incredibly friendly, social, professional, and so so efficient. Food is excellent, and I have had nothing but a positive experience with New York Super Subs in Squirrel Hill over the few years that I’ve been ordering from them. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, a quality that is often overlooked nowadays!
