The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. However, there’s a big problem– the prices. The salmon philly cheesesteak, fries, and drink I got came out to be nearly $30 after tip. And the sandwich wasn’t that big either. You can get philly cheesesteaks at places like Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse Subs, and American Deli for significantly less money. If it wasn’t for the prices, I would have given Fingerz 5 stars. The food isn’t even bad, far from it; it’s just that it’s way overpriced.

Mama’s Italian beef legit might be better than my own mama’s. Yall don’t tell her. My family and I really enjoyed everything we had here. Great food, great people. Look I’ll definitely be back to get a taste of home! Yall need to put a Chicago dog on the menu… if you did I’d probably move in.

And idk why ppl don’t know… But I do now, and yall might see me every week…That beef was ON POINT!!! if yall had mild sauce that would have made it a 5 star..all I ask is that the cook stay consistent everytime and u got me!!!

Look I am giving a honest review of this visit. I was sent here by someone I was speaking to at work about missing food from my home town Chicago. They said I have just the spot for you and they will get you right. I since living here found anything to compare to the Modest food and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I purchased a 20 piece wing with mild sauce and a Italian beef dipped like we do at home. I was looking to be disappointed because all the food reviews I have seen or received from others to check out Chicago style cooking failed miserably. Y’all need to check these folk out you are looking for AUTHENTIC CHICAGO STYLE COOKING. It was even better the next day (remember I purchased 20 pieces of chicken) I will definitely be back here. Customer service was on point as well I mean everybody welcomed you in even from the kitchen if they saw you. They have Sunday breakfast and $10 lunch specials daily. Ask for Ms. Renee she will get you right!

We went to Fingerz, for lunch today we dined in. The restaurant is nestled between two other businesses but there was enough seating with tables and chairs for guests. Since this was our first time here I asked the young lady at the register who was very pleasant and helpful what was good and she said everything, she gave several suggestions for our group of four. After ordering we sat down and within 5 to 7 minutes our order was ready. The food was so good, hot, delicious, flavorful and plentiful. We ate and had leftovers. After dining I had to personally thank the staff and chef it was a great dining experience. Thank you Fingerz, listed as one of my favorites restaurant.

I had a Italian Beef dipped w/ peppers & cheese. The location is nice the restaurant is small & clean. The reason for the 3 stars is the sandwich was double wrapped in foil once I opened it,the sandwich was small & super soggy, the meat was light in color as if they could of cooked it a little longer or something the cheese was just slapped on the sandwich it wasn’t melted at all it was thick. Crinkle fries I asked for lemon pepper on fries they gave me seasoning salt. They have Chicago butter cookies and Chicago mild sauce which is a double plus. Sometimes I like trying new places minus when I don’t get the bang for my buck. At least I know now where to get my cookies from lol.They should get fountains, I had a bottled pink lemonade. The frontline people were nice and friendly. I read some of these other reviews and I seen the same experience with owner speaking to people she knows and there were other customers there she could greet and thanks for coming in but hey she don’t know me n all money is green. I’m big on customer service

My work place has ordered here twice recently for lunch. They seriously have the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had and their wet garlic parm is really good! Fries were average, but their onion rings were not good at all and were room temp when everything else was hot. I’ll go back for the tenders alone though. My entire staff enjoyed the wings and tenders and we all agreed on the poor onion rings.

Seen a TikTok about them and decided to get it a try. I had the salmon cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink. First time having it and it was delicious!! I highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner. They have a great menu selection and also have some vegan items. Also the staff was very friendly which is a huge plus for me
