The food was absolutely disgusting. Grease actually dripped off of the onion rings; all you could taste was grease. The steak sub I got was horrible. The onions (which were huge and thickly sliced) and mushrooms were barely cooked and the steak was so greasy that it saturated the sub roll so bad that I couldn’t even pick it up to eat it. It had no flavor, except the flavor of grease. I threw it away. The little bit that I did eat caused such indigestion that I was sick the rest of the night. I don’t know how the place stays in business serving “food” like that. It was my first time eating there and, most definitely, my last.

It is very quaint. My granddaughter and her husband had their wedding reception there..the food was excellent! Just the right amount of selections that were all very tasty. The hor d’ourves were just as fresh and delicious..plenty of friendly staff who kept themselves very busy setting up and clearing tables. Very clean inside as well as the bathroom. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to hold a gathering. All her guests felt the same way about this establishment!

Tried the Philly steak sandwich and fries. So far, the absolute best tasting Philly I’ve tried between Syracuse, Oswego, Fulton, and in between… the bread isn’t soggy, the beef tastes great (not bland or salty), the fries were hot and crispy, the house cab was nice and smooth too! A pleasant atmosphere and humble crowd, the staff is awesome and fun to chit chat with. Be sure to check this menu out! Such a surprise for bar fare… tasty!

I honestly couldn’t believe the quality of the food at the village tavern. This place is the best kept secret North of Syracuse. Excellent service, warm environment and the food will blow you away. If you have the chance to make it out you will not be disappointed.

Salad bar w/homemade soup of the day served with all dinners. Many entrees at reasonable rates. This was our 2nd visit & is fast becoming one of my favorites!!! Had no room for dessert, maybe next time!

We stopped at this restaurant when we visited Demon Acres. This was thee best diner we had every found!! Waiting staff was amazing, portions were huge and the food was out of this world!! Highly recommended.

Stefanie is a great bartender, she makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The place is clean and comfortable. If the owner is smart he will keep Stefanie on the bar and restaurant should do well. I’ll be going back to try lunch?
