Quite a find off of Granby Street in Norfolk. Sign sits on top of the roof line like that of a theatre. When you enter you are greeted by an ambience akin to old imperial setting – dark benches, chandelier, carved artwork on walls. Clean tables and walls. It’s a Sunday at around 4pm, past their luncheon service that ends at 3pm. Love their menu that offers healthy choices – boiled chicken or shrimp or combo chicken/shrimp and mixed vegetables. Such an entree cones with brown rice and a fortune cookie if to go.

Let me tell you about this spot. Sweet and Sour Chicken On Point, Fried Rice On Point, Terimasu On Point, Thai Ice Tea On Point, and Vegeatble Spring Rolls On Point. The food was fresh and very delicious. I haven’t had good Asain food like this in a while. The price is worth the food. I highly recommend this restaurant for good eats.

The food was delicious. I read the reviews then stopped by for lunch while visiting Norfolk. I was surprised by how delicious the food tasted because I dined-in but food was served in to-go boxes. The to-go boxes appeal does not give any taste indication. Visual perception deceived but taste buds revealed the delicious food.

I got off work and I ordered before I left the parking garage, and it was ready by the time I got there, excellent service!

Solid spot in the area. We got a couple of items to go. Everything tasted decent but definitely not the best Chinese take out I’ve had. Got the Thai crispy fish and the curry tofu to go. Everything was ok. The Thai crispy fish was a bit disappointing in terms of the portion since it was only the top layer with the fish and everything underneath was just rice.

The chicken was very good. The rice and egg drop were also good, but egg drop soup tasted more salty than anything else. The place only gives food in to-go containers. You had to go to the counter to place your order and have the option to dine in after. We decided to dine in but the place is very humid and warm. Ended up sweating through the meal.

Best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my whole life. General Tso’s, amazing. Fried rice, perfect. Chicken skewers, a must order. If you like Chinese food, you’ll love YaYa’s!

The best – take out- Chinese food in all of Norfolk. Great quality and taste. I’ve tried a bunch of other places around and nothing tops YaYa. My go to is the seasame chicken combo with wonton soup!

Very disappointed. Ordered takeout here. The kung pao chicken was NOT advertised as having bell peppers, celery, mini corn, etc. The whole entree is full of vegetables barely any chicken. Will not be returning. Save your money.

Without doubt YaYa provides great take-out. Always ready if ordering ahead, a quick turnaround if walk in. Great taste and very generous savings. Prices are great for the quality and service.
