A serious classic hole in the wall with good food and service people that do their best. There are at least 10 regulars that are there for breakfast daily, along with a variety of professionals that know good food at reasonable prices. We’ve been there about 20 times in the past 5 years, and the food is consistently good!

It’s been many years since we’ve eaten here, and dang, what we’ve been missing out on is the freshest breakfast we’ve had at any restaurant around. They are newish owners, friendly, quality service, great prices, one of the cleanest places we’ve eaten at. The food was so fresh and delicious. Not gourmet or fancy, just really good breakfasts. Home cooking away from home. I didn’t have my phone or I would have taken a photo of my perfectly cooked eggs and French toast. Their bacon is some of the best I’ve ever had. APPLEJACKS on Valley Blvd. GO you wont be sorry.

Nice environment. Tables spaces out well, all of the servers were prompt and very polite, prices were fair, coffee was good, and the food was quite delish, especially their salsa verde. This restaurant is cash only, but they have multiple signs around, on the door, and the menus, so you can’t say you weren’t warned. I had the Huevos Rancheros today and was pretty satisfied with how they came out along with the rice, beans, and side of bacon. I can say it tasted like a very fresh, flavorful, home cooked meal. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying their other items.

Apple Jacks is a small family-owned restaurant in El Monte. The food is always very good. The service at the tables is good…always refilling coffee and water. The food takes a long time to get to the table since there is one cook. If you don’t mind a little wait, the food is worth it.

Delicious Food! The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was generous. I ordered breakfast, but a lot of people were coming in to get the daily special (Thursday/meatloaf). Lol, they were disappointed because they were out before noon. Apparently they have great food all around and a very loyal customer base. I would definitely return!
