One of the best brunch experiences I’ve had. The food is incredible. My husband and I shared the chilaquiles, the brunch burger and the idaho fries. They were all bursting with flavors. I’ve also tried the fried chicken and cornbread in the past and they were equally delicious. Don’t hesitate to visit. Just stupid good food!

We visited from out of town and had a great experience! Staff were welcoming and the experience truly fit the name of the restaurant. If we’re ever in CDA again, will definitely come back. The Bourbon Peach Burger was DELICIOUS and extra precautions were taken for gluten and dairy free.

Today, my daughter and I had lunch at Izzy’s Comfort Kitchen, which we had never been to before. It was busy but there was an indoor table available. We were greeted and seated right away and given cold water on a hot day. Our server was Jess and she did a great job! We ordered an appetizer of 2 large biscuits with fruit sauce- the type of fruit varies. Today was blueberries in sauce then topped with a big dollop of delicious whipped cream. It looked so yummy we started eating it, and then I took a quick picture. The next picture you see is an empty plate.. this appetizer was amazing and very reasonably priced! Next came our meals. I had a classic hamburger with cheddar cheese and bacon with ‘the usual’ toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion and a delicious garlic aioli. The burger came with a large pile of thin fries, like shoestring. The ranch dip was homemade and very tasty My daughter had Idaho Benedict which is a large pile of shoestring potatoes topped with braised beef, bacon, diced peppers, garlic aioli and a sunny side up egg which she really enjoyed. They had outdoor tables as well which we hope to try next time on a day where the temperature isn’t in the high 90’s this was a nice, new dining experience with delicious food and great service ..we highly recommend it!

Really not sure how this gets such a good rating. Definitely don’t go here if you want drinks with your food. All their cocktails were from cans AND they were out of more than half of them. How do you run out? Go to the grocery store where you probably bought them! They don’t mention they are all from a can on the menu but will offer up that info when they are out….and if all your cocktails are going to be from cans have more options! Beer selection is also terrible. Bud, bud light, Stella, only IPA is non alcoholic lol. It’s almost like they are trying to make a bad drink menu.

Izzy’s is casual but nice. The food and service were excellent. I had never tried fried green tomatoes before, so I had to give them a try. They were so good!!! The hamburgers were huge but very good, and you get a lot of hand cut french fries with each burger. They had homemade peach cobbler for desert, so we shared one serving, which was just right for two people. It was some of the best peach cobbler I’ve ever had! We will definitely be going back.

Only had time for 1 meal while in the area and chose this one. So glad we did. My peach bourbon bbq burger was fantastic! The fries that came with it were perfection and it was a large portion. Left stuffed and happy!

This was truly comfort food! The atmosphere is nice while being a little hard to hear but the food is totally worth it!! We chose to get the corn bread to begin with and it was the perfect crispy but also soft with lots of butter! The drink were also very good our table chose the lavender lemonade mocktail and the mojito. The lavender mocktail was the perfect amount of sweet and sour with a hint of lavender. Definitely recommend! For entrees we had the pot roast which was 10/10, chicken fried steak which was also amazing I would say that the beans were not my favorite but not at all bad! The other 2 entrees were the dirty bird which was 10/10 and a little zingy, midtown madness 8/10 and highly recommend the garlic aioli with the fries. Overall very good experience and the service was amazing!

Excellent food and outstanding service. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the peach bourbon bbq burger (was very hungry after a week of camp food, not a normal portion size for one person!) and both were mouth-wateringly delicious. Sitting at the counter in the back, the service was very friendly, fast, and personal, and made me feel right at home.

This place is so small they just have to compensate with the food. Big sizes, big flavors, big drinks, tiny, tiny restaurant.
