We ordered two meatball, an eggplant Parm and a cheesesteak. Also a meatball bowl with spicy meatballs. I enjoyed the rocky Balboa and momma meatballs The spicy meatballs were ok but I was very disappointed that I did not receive my salad or garlic knot that came with the meatball bowl. We were back in our home in Dover when we realized this. We travel back and forth between NJ and Delaware frequently

It wasn’t as spectacular as I expected.( Sorry JL + Delaware online) Everything we purchased and tried was just okay. They did miss our salad. The slices of pizza were mediocre/ average. Eggplant parmesan,cheese steak, Rocky Balboa meatball hogie, and Mama’s meatball hogie were all fine. The spicy meatballs did pack a punch. We did love the sharp provolone used on the steak sandwich. For me it is not worth the diversion from the NJTP.

Wow, they need to change their name from Mama’s meatball to Mama’s Cheese steaks! How have i driven by this place hundreds of times and not know they have one of the best cheese steaks in South Jersey. Living in an area with so many great cheese steak places, this has vaulted to the top of my list. The meat to cheese ratio, the sesame roll, the flavors, man this hits the sweet spot for me. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu so my review is limited to just the steaks, but do you really need anything else?!

I live in MD but stop at this place every 3 or 4 months to bring cheesesteaks to my family in North Jersey. My last order was so so, but I let it slide. I was really disappointed today though because the bread was burned. Did they burn it in preparation or select burned ones on purpose? I ordered 3 steaks today for my son’s birthday dinner and wasn’t expecting this. The meat was good, but the burned rolls on all 3 sandwiches was suspect. I spent almost 50 and left a tip. Not cool at all. There aren’t many good places left in South Jersey, so I guess I’ll be going into Philly. I won’t be back here.

Top-tier cheesesteak hands down. This sandwich should be in your top 5 cheesesteaks and definitely in your top 10. Pizza is phenomenal also so make sure you grab a slice while your here. Only knock is very limited eat-in seating with a 4 seat counter inside and 3-4 tables outside.

Legit the best cheesesteaks ever!!! I’m not huge on cheesesteaks, but Mama’s has the best I’ve ever had, and we’ve been back a couple of times since we’ve had our first cheesesteak from there. We got the whiz on our cheesesteak, and it’s the real deal good tasting whiz, not the cheap kind, and the rolls are homemade and on point!They have excellent garlic knots also! I’m dying to try their pizza because it looks so yummy, but their cheesesteaks are hard to pass on! The desserts are also very yummy, specifically the tiramisu and the lemoncello!!! The staff there has always been really nice as well, like overly nice, actually! Whether in person or on the phone, they are such great people, very friendly!!! I can not say enough good things about Mama’s and their amazing food! Excellent quality and great customer service!!!
