We have access to a wealth of good Asian and Korean food at home and their Hot Stone Bibimbap is as good as I’ve had anywhere else. Service was excellent. We also had the SPAM fried rice which was very good as well. The best meal we had in town.

A very friendly place. Helped me with a smile as soon as I entered and made sure I was well taken care of. Though a small place I felt like the atmosphere was delightful. Great food with a wide variety between Japanese food and American. Highly recomend.

Food was atrocious. I ate three bites of a chicken and rice dish and threw it away because it was so bad. I’m glad I did because my friend, who also got a rice dish, developed severe food poisoning after eating this food. In reading reviews for this restaurant I see that another person developed severe food poisoning and was hospitalized. This restaurant needs to up their game, including their food safety practices.

Everything is relative. If you judge this restaurant by normal standards, you could do better. However, judging based on Utqiagvik’s standards then this is a top restaurant. The lunch special is $17 and the teriyaki chicken was such a small portion it felt like only half of a breast. But the flavor was spot on.
