We ordered takeout because we heard it was the best place in the area for pizza and we are not from here. We ordered 2 LARGE pizzas and 3 Caesar salads. It was over 100.00! The salads were nothing but romaine and little croutons….no Parmesan. The pizzas were ok but they certainly weren’t what we would consider as large by any means. Maybe they do things different here than they do in the east. If we are here again….we will definitely try a different place!!

Laid back atmosphere, and good variety of food.We tried a few different things and shared. I thought the wood fired pizza and crust was perfect.I had the mango, habenero ( it wasn’t spicy just good flavor)pizza with a white sauce. It was a really nice change up from the traditional style pizzas. Don’t worry though, they have some good pepperoni and cheese waiting for you. We really liked the flavors of the sauce for the chicken tenders. They have several to choose from but we pnly tried the thai chili and buffalo. The hoemade chips were perfectly crunchy with a tad of the chewy soft side too. Soooo yummy. Service was great too. Super friendly even though she seemed to be helping all the tables in the place, at the time.

They have a large bar selection and really good food. They have music and pool tables. Dart boards and quite a few tables. Love there pizza, but they have a fairly large selection of food to offer at a good price. Check them out.

We stopped in for a drink and some wings on a Friday evening. Great atmosphere and quick service! We ordered 1lb of wings and some drinks. The wings were good, but average. I would never pay $26 for them again. I guess in my mind I was thinking 1lb of wings was more than it was. I want to say there were maybe 8-10 wings, at most. Then there was a side of handmade chips and they were way over seasoned, which most of it was fine but the salt ratio made them not edible. I’m still trying to figure out $26 wings at approximately $2.60 each when Rustic Hut gives you them for about $1.20 each. I was also charged for an extra drink that I didn’t have, but that was easily cleared up. So I can’t say that I would return here again if I was wanting wings. But if you want an awesome Long Island then this is the place!

The food here is very good! I can’t say that I have ever had any of their burgers, but their pizza cooked in their wood-fired pizza oven is the big draw to me. There’s just something about the crust from such an oven that you don’t get from any other pizza cooked in any other way. Some of their pizza recipes are unique and most delicious. Their jalapeño poppers are also very good, the service is great, and as far as the atmosphere, I like that the restaurant is separate from the bar and it also has that rustic warm atmosphere that is unique to Montana.

My music partner, Lawrence, and I had the privilege of playing this venue recently. It is absolutely one of the funnest bars to play music in. Their customers were happy and having a marvelous time. Most stayed the entire evening which speaks highly of the place as people don’t stay where the service or food (or music) is not GREAT. It is located in the middle of the Bitterroot Valley which makes it easily accessible to all. GREAT food and Drinks and the owners and staff treated us like friends. Can’t wait to play there again and in the meantime, we will be taking advantage of dropping in for Pizza! Cowboy Troys does it right!
